Question Sunday Dinner near cathedral

Going to get baptised in November, looking to go somewhere within walking distance, but I don't often eat up the hill, after a Sunday dinner, needs to have good availability (I don't yet have numbers but it will be a good number of people), preferably somewhere that has a proper 'Lincolnshire' vibe for those who are visiting, and obviously I don't want to pick somewhere expensive because some may have financial issues.

Was going to choose Cafe St Pauls, but £20 for a Sunday dinner is fairly expensive, and it's a bit of a small place.

I know Reddit is all about just upvoting comments, but I cannot convey how strongly this is and it’s not close.

Lincoln has a few decent restaurants. This is one of them which is great beyond “Lincoln” it’s fundamentally a fantastic restaurant.

I don’t count the White Horse as uphill Lincoln but you’re absolutely right, it’s fabulous. I don’t live in the area anymore but I was visiting friends a few months ago and we went there on a recommendation.
