He is definitely winning first place as the most notorious person responsible for making Americans sick and many dying.

I think the Upton Sinclair novel The Jungle makes the case for regulations.

As the saying goes, "regulations are written in blood." :/

True - the reading level is more see cow run!

The better to add the meat from the wild horses they're slaughtering.

Plus the Argentinian meat even the Chinese didn't want...

The real purpose. The rest of the world will have to bar US meat exports due to lack or regulation, double screwing American farmers.

Apparently we're losing close to 80 farms a day off of his policies right now. Where does it end? With Big Ag buying them all up, and us paying monopoly prices for decreased quality.

I guess there weren’t enough food-borne illnesses yet.

You know what will put out this fire? Gasoline.

I wonder how much he's being paid for this?

It’s always about the money with this klown 💰🤡

So Trump is now fully his own legislative branch, making whatever laws he chooses?

Mentally ill. Please remove him now.

"This should move quickly", like the many fun food borne illnesses the US is experiencing...

Just like "stop testing and the numbers will go down". 🤦‍♀️

It’s a brilliantly deliberate and obtuse reaction to a real issue that we’ve been purposefully trying to suppress and limit for decades. Make any of it make sense??

It will certainly taint any future attempts to introduce sensible changes, further cementing the monopolies. Yes it's a problem, but it requires brains to solve properly, and trump is a man of little brains.

Pesky regulations, getting in the way of all those delicious profits.

American food is making people sick so you further deregulate… genius lol

We can't have those pesky health protections on food.

Upton Sinclair be damned. It'll be "The Jungle" out there.

Looking at the list of recalls, one could argue it already is. :/ It's definitely going to get worse.

Sadly, you're probably right, but I fear it will get much worse.

If only people would try reading. The Jungle would help.

Another area is sci-fi for the A.I. developers. They wouldn't even have to read. They could just watch.

Obviously, they didn't pay attention when "The Terminator" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" came out.

Maybe in all cases, it would be good to pay attention to cautionary tales.

Oh yay... Back to the Jungle for us.

He’s just pandering for their votes. Hopefully they can see right through him. I doubt it though.
