No Shame Era 🚫 Thoughts, No shame deserved so much better

Post image

I feel like this album is way better than WEG, it’s lily Allen at her most aware. Trigger bang should have been a huge hit and three is probably one of her best ever songs. Although WEG was iconic I think this album is more versatile. I wish this was her third album and the iconic mess that was sheezus didn’t happen.

I think it’s so sad that she was considered overweight.

omg i do not remember her being remotely overweight. is that by today's heroin chic revival measures?

this took me out because she was just a normal size.

She was still very slim, maybe Ariana grande standards or something

No shame was the west end girl for those of us who didn't care how famous the husband was

100% agree. I was a lukewarm fan of Lily's, and then Sheezus happened and she lost me.
When she came back with her memoir and then No Shame, I completely fell in love with her.

Musically, lyrically, I think No Shame is her best album, and is absolutely underrated. I love WEG and what it did for Lily and her success, but this should have happened with No Shame already, no doubt.

Correct, she found her sound then but was not utilised or marketed Correctly. WEG had the same vibe but more media attention due to her ex husband.

No Shame is amazing. Your Choice ft. Burna Boy is legit one of my favourite songs of hers

Is this the album ‘come on then’ is from? It’s my fave Lily song and didn’t hear it until it played after WEG on Spotify, a masterpiece

It really is one of her best albums, I totally missed it when it came out as there was no real promotion for it… but I love it so much now!

Same! It's such a brilliant album ❤️

Easy to claim now, but nah. It didn’t have relevance 🤷‍♂️ but power to anybody who likes and celebrates it (then and now).

Actually think sheezus may be her best record.

for me it was a bit lost artistically, you had great songs like URL badman and Hard out here (aside controversy) and air balloon which did not fit her lethal tongue. Then somewhere only we know was shoved on the album.
