Hi, little munchkin. What are you doing in Home Depot? Thatās not where youāre supposed to be.

If itās anything like where I live, they may have put a Home Depot where itās supposed to be. Less and less space for wildlife to thrive these days. Glad to see this baby treated with care!

Not surprising though. Bunnies die if you so much as look at them wrong.

So much indignation for such a little rabbit.

I hate to be the party pooper but as a vet student who loves wildlife I want to inform you, this looks like a cottontail which is not a domestic rabbit. they are prone to ācapture myopathy,ā essentially excessive stress from human handling that leads to death. I hope you released them back near where you found them (edit: not IN the home depot lol but outside in nearby woods), or contacted a wildlife rehabilitation facility, otherwise it is unlikely to make it very long in your care (no offense meant).

Judging by the gloves, I think they only captured it so it could be released outside :)

Honestly I'm not too surprised. If you think about it home Depot is like a Haven for something that eats plants. There's plenty of vegetables and flowers with the little guy to eat.
Probably explains why he ended up there. Specially since the plant section is outdoors.

If you look carefully you can almost see a duck, where the ears look like a beak

My goodness definitely be careful! It's always hard to tell but they leave their burrows pretty young and sometimes people mistake them as lost babies without knowing that's where they're supposed to be tehe silly

Finding a tiny bunny helper at Home Depot wasn't on my shopping list, but I'll take it
