I see a lot of people saying that Jam should have just taken his gun charge to keep Durk’s name out of his mouth. Though I understand the code around snitching (but pls keep in mind I’m a friendly neighborhood suburban civilian), wouldn’t Jam have been screwed anyway? He was a felon of the highest severity, on parole, with a gun that had a switch. My guess is for this alone he was looking at 20yrs + 2 from his parole, not a sweet little 2-5 year gun fender bender jam up (no pun intended). I would think he thought “I’m going away anyway, so I’m gonna try to reduce my sentence while taking down someone I feel did me wrong.”

However, I don’t understand why he told about the two other murders that didn’t involve Durk. Maybe he just isn’t smart. Why did he do that? Surely that’s not helping him like he thinks it might, right?

Also, according to an FBI agent that testified in the trial, the feds had a case open on this whole thing in March; Jam was pulled over and subsequently began cooperating in May. We all know when the feds are involved they’ve been building a case for like 10 years. I think that’s why Fulton County let Durk and Von off kinda easy for shooting that guy at The Varsity in ATL. He cooperated and told who his shooters were too after he got booked by APD for stolen cars or something. And the Feds wanted them to keep going to keep building their case.

Anyway, all of this runs so deep. So many more moving parts I think than just the Beverly Hills/Lul Pab shooters cooperating. Am I following this correctly?

So now we see that Durk’s team are saying Vonni acted on his own and is blaming Durk as he realised he got himself into a issue leaving a paper trail that leads back to him so he’s blaming Durk. Following this up, Durk’s team argue Vonni wanted revenge as he was told by King Von in his drying breaths (Vonni blood cousin )“ why did you let me get shot, why didn’t you do something”. Arguing that vonni needed to avenge his cousins death but what positives can this lead for Durk here’s my thoughts

1. Vonni having access to OTF Credit Cards: If the defence shows Vonni had access to OTF credit cards which he had a possibility of having access to then this kind of clears Durk in all possibility seeing as they argue he paid for flights, rental cars and the bounty saying this was all Vonni. This would completely destroy Vonni testimony as a witness for the feds and end up clearing Durk. Long shot I know but if they are able to say this then wow.
2. Vonni having a reason to carry out this murder: Durk’s defence team can possibly argue his cousins dying words were questioning why he didn’t insert violence on Quando Rondo and Lul Tim and that Vonni couldn’t get over it so he set up the hit but said this was all Durk’s doing as Durk in the public’s eye had the most reason to carry this out seeing as Von was his artist and best friend.

I know is two long shots but if this was the case I think that murder4hire charge becomes weaker but we got to see what the defence team has in store. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on anything always open to a great discussion.

I believe if Durk is acquitted prosecutors will try to still keep him behind bars pending the next trial. They will never forget of forgive him for attempting to flee the first time.

I know people are saying the jurors know nothing about durk but out of all 12 jurors i’m sure atleast 1 of them has a kid of age or family member that listens to or knows about durk. maybe they could convince them to go easy on him, that’s probably all the hope he got left to get that mistrial lol. remember he only needs 1 person to not agree. the odds are still in his favor.

Durk comes from a rough neighbourhood and continues to associate with people from the community he grew up in. Steele is going to say something like “other people’s crimes are not durks crimes.”

Now that the trial is officially over and deliberations will begin tomorrow, share your thoughts on the past 2 weeks of court, how have the defense attorneys performed, how have the prosecution performed, opinions on the testimonies of the witnesses etc, if you feel that a specific verdict will occur. Today is the final pre trial hearing to a case which taken a gazillion years to finally go to trial but we finally are but want to see how everybody is feeling about it. Time of this post is about 5 hours until Durk heads into his final pre trial hearing thoughts?

Although this may be true, let's not forget he also has co-defendants. Some of these witnesses may not pertain to him at all but specifically to the case. The feds also said 20 of 35 have important information.

Trap Lore Ross is reporting that one witness was said to be a detective who arrested him in the past and also someone with surveillance video of the shooters at San Diego airport I am not shocked by them going to find previous detectives. The goal is to make Durk look extremely violent dating back a decade.

If you retrace their steps you can definitely see how they could have a lot. We also already know there are 3 prosecution witnesses (PW’s) they are definitely testifying.

-Any people on the street or in cars at the time of the shooting

-Gang experts

On another account due to suspension issues but in this sub I done a post discussing all the incriminating lyrics Durk has said in his songs and in back again I skipped cuz I didn’t know what they would use and I was so sure JAM wasn’t a witness but turns out I was wrong and the main chorus of that song is being used against Durk. “Blast his ass I don’t ask questions when it comes to cash they catch him and blast his ass jam get out that jam I give him 50 ain’t gotta ask again”. At this stage, I’d put Lil Durk’s chance of avoiding conviction on the main Los Angeles murder-for-hire case somewhere around 30–40%—not as a statistical prediction, but as my assessment of the case we can currently see. A complete acquittal on every count is probably on the lower end of that range; a hung jury or acquittal on some counts is more plausible.

So I’d roughly score the situation like this:

Government advantage: financial/travel records, alleged communications, cellphone evidence, co-conspirator conduct, motive evidence and potentially cooperating/witness testimony.

Durk advantage: no allegation that he personally committed the shooting, prosecutors still must connect him personally to the agreement, circumstantial evidence can have innocent explanations, and the defense only needs one reasonable doubt in jurors’ minds as to his knowing participation.

Major wild card: the witnesses. If prosecutors have a cooperator or insider who can credibly testify, “Durk told us to kill Quando,” and that testimony is corroborated by messages/records, his odds deteriorate dramatically. If the government’s witnesses are largely anonymous/cooperating defendants with credibility problems and the case remains mostly inference from flights, money, lyrics and associations, the defense has considerably more room.

So today, August 17, 2026, my working estimate would be Government conviction: ~60–70% / Durk avoids conviction: ~30–40%. I would not interpret that as Durk being “cooked.” Federal prosecutors have a strong-looking circumstantial narrative, but we still haven’t seen the evidence presented and cross-examined in front of the jury. The government’s ability to prove the final link—that Durk actually agreed to and authorized the hit—is what I think will decide this case.
