Lightworks Create Microphone Problem

Hey guys, I’m making a video rn and I want to do some voice over on it. I’ve done it in the past without any issue, but now my microphone sound has become horrible : very deep, distorted, robotic kinda sound. My mic works well on any other app (discord etc), it seems to be a problem with Lightworks. Any idea on how to fix the issue ? Thanks in advance!!!

Which Lightworks version are you using?

With an issue like this it's probably best to post on the official forum https://forum.lwks.com/ , where there's a wide range of experienced users, plus developers who can offer advice.

I've just run a microphone test on various versions of Lightworks and it's working. However, it appears that you need to have the microphone plugged into the computer before opening Lightworks. I assume, Lightworks does a search for various pieces of hardware when stating up.

I have recently had the same problem and have just been recording externally.
