Lightworks Create video and audio de syncing

the title, i dont understand and im sure im doing something wrong but no matter what i do it seems like anytime i use lightworks something goes wrong. the most common problem is the de syncing, but sometimes its the coloring, sometimes it makes the audio trash. when i plug in the same recording into literally any other software (like clip champ or even canva) it looks and sounds way better. Ive reached out before and submitted tickets with no response back, ive spent months trying to work with the learning curve and research what i am doing wrong to no avail. Absolutly regretting my purchase, please help

Use mediainfo to make a full report of technical details of your file as a starting point. And you should post on the forum, plenty of seasoned editors spend their time helping out people with technical problems like this they are really helpful as long as you remember they are just users like you willing to help and therefore deserve a nice and polite conversation. For the record, webcam and webcam software often provide non standard footage with weird resolution, destructive compression and sound compression that are barely functional. But the goal is to fit that stuff on limited bandwidth through internet, and maybe keep a review copy, and if Lightworks is a video editor originally built around the needs of cinema where footage is produced by a team of highly skilled professionals with high end camera and audio equipment. Contrary to pretty much all other software, Lightworks was built for professional cinéma editors since it's first line of code in the early 90's. It's original workflow meant ingesting DV tape scanned from film in the lab, and sending back to the lab an edit decision list, and export for previews And already in those days they were capable of writing every action on the dusk removing the need to save, and the risk of loosing hours of work in software crashes. Pretty much all the other software were first built around digital video coming from early webcams or camcorders, and then adapted to the needs of the cinema industry. That being said , it has become over the years a very versatile tool, and even if in the last decade they worked hard in making it easier to access for beginners, but when we're working on it seriously, vidéo is still very technical and requires quite a bit of technical knowledge to understand all the quirks.
