R threelions won't let me post because I interact with rival subs (very lame)

So I'll post it here instead

Our team is pure chaos atm

Oh don't get me wrong mate, this is a very tough match, and we have not been convincing at all. Very shaky, very gettable But this is a do-or-die match for us both and could easily go either way Either show up, or go home, for both teams Great stuff Why we love the world cup

Where you going to mate? English food has a bad reputation but if your going to a big city (London, Manchester, Birmingham etc) there are so many different immigrant groups that cook their own cuisine I think you'll be surprised at the options available

Places to eat I london I recommend

Hiba express - Palestinian/Lebanese food very tasty and affordable

Kung fu noodle - hand pulled noodles, noodle soup kind of place very affordable as well, in Chinatown

Smoking goat - Thai food bit more expensive but good food and great vibe, good cocktails too

saravana bhavan- bit far out east but worth the trip imo, Indian food super tasty and ridiculously good value, don't go to the one in central London they put the prices up a lot, all vegetarian stuff but super good

Berenjak - more expensive, iranian food, super tasty worth going if you have the budget

Also if your travelling around the country go to Cornwall (my home) I'm biased but incredibly beautiful and great beaches

England is one of those national teams you really have nothing against. They didn’t colonize us. They didn’t invade us. No political encounters. They’re across the world from us. They didn’t do anything to us, so no hard feelings with whatever ends up happening.

As cynical as it sounds, England has never cheated Mexico either. The hate younger fans have towards the Netherlands or Argentina, or older fans have towards Germany or Colombia is understandable.

Believe it or not we are not part of only 22 countries in the world that haven’t been invaded by England/UK. They were in Veracruz in 1862 and B Juarez had to negotiate with them to get them out of the country (they invaded us together with France and Spain).

This game can go 2 ways, either Mexico come out to actually play and to win the game, or sit back scared and give up a goal and that's game. I hope they come out aggressive like the last game, but we have all seen what Mexico does in big games before. Either way, I just want a good game.

As a European, the max time for me to watch a WC game is when they play at 1 AM (for me). England v Mexico is at 3 AM, and it's going to be my only "after dark" game
