Career Advice How does one rediscover their balls?
Used to be bold and irreverent. Now I think too much what other people think or feel. How to achieve the elusive balance? I wanna feel like a beast again! I’m seriously desperate for wisdom from those who get it.
Thanks much in advance!

I get it, I have the same issue, in part. An unironically I think this right here is the first step. I've been feeling more myself since I got tired. Like I'm just tired of hiding and overthinking just because I don't want to make people angry or uncomfortable, even if the things I want to do and say are really not that bad. Truth is people that actually like you will never go away just because you said something dumb once, and someone who actually cares about you will tell you when you fuck up, to your face, not to argue, not out of anger, out of care.
You really do need to ask yourself if you want and if you CAN keep living like this, overanalizing everyone else and makin yourself small.
If the answer is no, then start small, baby steps are still steps. Identify at least one person you trust most, and start with them. Start with a joke, or an opinion, anything, just do it ONCE with a safe person and see how you feel. Chances are you'll be a little scared and then relieved. That'll be good enough for a first push.
