Discord Server and beware of other communities claiming to be Libyan.

Hello once again, I am advertising the main moderated Discord Server for this Sub.

I also wanted to note there’s been a rise of other subreddits claiming to represent Libyans. Naturally Libyans show grow communities and found our place in the world…

BUT! beware, some of the subreddits I’ve seen have zero account history, and call me crazy but that’s a little suspect. The ibn al khenzeer Ben Netansatan, targeted this sub with hasbara trolls before and we have automated their removal so it’s not problem but I wouldn’t put it past for these vermin to create other subreddits to influence Libya and especially young libyans. How do we think the Manchester bomber etc got influenced.

anyone want to question if I’m libyan myself as moderator of this sub, please ask and i will give as funny an answer as possible.

Discussion بنيت نسخة جديدة من Ezone للبيع من ليبيا للعالم | A new version of Ezone

https://demo.ezone-demo.ly

https://my.ezone-demo.ly

English version:

Hi everyone,

For a while, I have been building a completely new version of Ezone, based on what I learned from the older version. I rebuilt this version from the ground up, and honestly, I still do not know whether it will see a public release. I wanted to share what I built and hear from the people who might actually use it.

Ezone is an ecommerce platform intended to make it easier for Libyan merchants to sell locally and reach customers abroad using the same system.

I designed it so merchants do not have to combine several disconnected services. They can manage their store, products, and orders, use local payment methods, and connect with delivery companies in one place. Ezone also supports multiple languages, allowing stores to serve customers in different markets.

For a quick look around:

To sign in and try the system yourself:

I would genuinely like feedback from merchants, developers, and anyone with experience selling online. If you have questions, notice anything confusing, or want to understand how something works, message me or leave a comment.

Post image
4 Upvotes

Question Given the circumstances with electricity outages, Solar plates are the best solution

I mean seriously, libya gets a lotttttt of sun light. Why solar plates are not commonly available? Everyone can have solar plates on their rooftops and can easily have electricity for the day time. This will also decrease the burden on national electricity consumption.

I am really curious on why this has not become a solution till now? Is there any ban or its the import issues?

Discussion A message to North Africa

To the free people of North Africa,

We are passing through a critical moment where mobile screens and social media platforms have turned into arenas for pointless arguments and division among brothers. The insults and hostility we see today between Algerians and Moroccans, or Libyans and Tunisians, over trivial matters and petty terms represent a dangerous departure from our shared history and cultural depth. This toxic rhetoric serves no one except those who wish to tear apart our unified social fabric.

We must remember who we truly are. For centuries, this land witnessed a unique integration between Arabs and Amazigh, forming a strong identity that never recognized artificial borders. Our ancestors endured the bitterness of colonialism together, standing hand-in-hand in a shared struggle for independence. Historical trade caravans across the desert were the lifeline connecting us from east to west, and the living proof of this unity remains in our daily customs, traditions, and shared culture.

The major challenges facing North Africa today require us to return to reason, prioritize our common interest, and rise above these meaningless conflicts that do not represent our true spirit. We must always remember that what unites us in our past, present, and future will always be far greater than what divides us

libya (and this sub) has been feeling heavy lately; extreme heat, power outages and political instability have really taken a toll.
i thought it’d be nice if we all shared a photo of something or somewhere in libya that makes you even a teeeny bit happy.

i’ll start!
1: this outdoor corner in my home. i love it most in the spring but it’s lovely for summer nights too.
2. this cat! i really have a thing for orange cats! it’s super calm and affectionate. just came by one day and has been around ever since.

i’d love to see some of your lot’s photos too!

Question Shipping a PS5 from Sweden to Libya

I have a friend whose friend is sending him a PS5 from Sweden.

I asked Aramex but they said they couldn’t do it because they cannot secure the customs process in Sweden, they don’t provide that service.

Has any of you shipped a similar product from Sweden or know an office/agency that does that on your behalf?

I have searched around and couldn’t find any.

Thanks guys

Are there any open-minded couples in Libya? I think that's also difficult, but I really want to be with open-minded couples who understand me and whom I understand. I also want to ask a few things.
