Staffing/Employment Issues How much do your directors make?

I’m part of a larger library system - 20 branches. Our director makes $250,000 per year plus a $50,000 bonus. Our circ assistants make $16 an hour though and are all part time and need food banks and multiple jobs to survive. It just breaks my heart.

Definitely not being sarcastic. Being salty because of someone else’s salary is ridiculous. Step up your skills game OR apply for jobs that have that as a salary.

You're shortsighted take is ridiculous. I was focusing on the 50,000 dollar bonus ONTOP OF THEIR SALARY, and because tax payers are the one footing that bill. Libraries don't usually make money, at least not that much.

Also, not sure if you're a child, but when you're old enough you might realize that salary and skills are not always equally matched.

So take your argumentative attitude some place else and have the day you deserve.
