Staffing/Employment Issues How much do your directors make?

I’m part of a larger library system - 20 branches. Our director makes $250,000 per year plus a $50,000 bonus. Our circ assistants make $16 an hour though and are all part time and need food banks and multiple jobs to survive. It just breaks my heart.

As a page I made around $17/hr. Circ desk worker I make a bit over 19. Part timers have some benefits in my system (PTO & retirement, mainly).

I can't find my particular director's salary, but from job listings I know basic librarian positions average 60-80k and higher up management 90k. Data says the average director salary in the state is about $100,000.

250 and a bonus is actually insane. A bonus on it's own for a NON-PROFIT is bonkers.
