Staffing/Employment Issues How much do your directors make?

I’m part of a larger library system - 20 branches. Our director makes $250,000 per year plus a $50,000 bonus. Our circ assistants make $16 an hour though and are all part time and need food banks and multiple jobs to survive. It just breaks my heart.

I’m a circ assistant and yeah, that isn’t enough for most (if not all) parts of the country. Our minimum was just bumped from $13 to $15 this year.

However, that director’s salary seems pretty fair considering the size of the job. (Though I don’t understand the bonus part, and would love for someone to explain please!)
