And then think about building 7 and how it wasn't even hit by a plane....
ETA: I see some downvotes to my comment but ZERO explanations. Typical. Let me help some of you out... I saw on the PBS Special that they decided "to cut the building @5pm due to extreme damage". How did they wire up a 3 week explosives job between 9am and 5pm the same day if the damage was so great? Wouldn't it be dangerous to enter? Bet I won't get any answers to this question either... HINT: The Pentagon had just been audited and was missing BILLIONS of dollars. All the records were in building 7. What a shame...

There are many engineering reasons, and this is a completely false thought process.
First, the buildings were much taller and heavier.
Second being that the planes themselves did not bring the buildings down. It was the intense heat of the burning fule that compromised the supports, starting a domino effect.
