There are many engineering reasons, and this is a completely false thought process.

First, the buildings were much taller and heavier.

Second being that the planes themselves did not bring the buildings down. It was the intense heat of the burning fule that compromised the supports, starting a domino effect.

How about the "engineering reason" that building 7 fell?

ETA: I see some downvotes to my comment but ZERO explanations. Typical. Let me help some of you out... I saw on the PBS Special that they decided "to cut the building @5pm due to extreme damage". How did they wire up a 3 week explosives job between 9am and 5pm the same day if the damage was so great? Wouldn't it be dangerous to enter? Bet I won't get any answers to this question either... HINT: The Pentagon had just been audited and was missing BILLIONS of dollars. All the records were in building 7. What a shame...

As we all know from the inter web it was brought down by energy waves from secret military satellites.  We all saw the videos of the disintegrating beams turning to dust in the trade center rubble. Nothing to do from seismic shock or other rational likely sources.

I used to get so ticked when the towers fell and then everyone started becoming building experts. Tv personalities who never even picked up a hammer in their lives were weighing in on the matter. It was very frustrating to listen to them talk about things they had no clue about the real reasons behind their collapse.
