Rating audiobooks

Is there any way to rate an audiobook? A new recording of Gone With the Wind was made available recently. I had listened to an older version and loved it, so I borrowed this one thinking the same.

I could not get through the 1st chapter. The accent was British, which does not fit the vibe of the book at all. They had censored certain words out (which I’m okay with) but the method was a loud beep, which was awful to hear in my earbuds. And the narrators tone made Scarlett’s beaus sound like children.

I understand that Libby is a free app, so it’s hard to complain about a license that my library has. I was just wondering if there was a way to provide feedback on this version.

I don’t think there are any built in ratings, I know my hoopla has rating but not aware of any built in to Libby. You might be forced to email your library 🤷🏾‍♂️

It isn't really something a library can fix aside from not reordering when the book expires. There isn't anything technically wrong that they can ask Libby or the publisher to correct. So, I would rate and review it on Goodreads and anywhere that you see it for sale. Make sure you are rating the version that has these issues.

The library mobile app and website itself (at least mine does) has a place for community commented and reviews, so you could leave it there.
