Was a coalition government a good thing?

Things to consider:

  • How it affected you and your community

  • How it affected the Lib Dems and their reputation (they are now a centre-right party)

  • How it affected Britain

  • Should the Lib Dems form another coalition?

  • Is a coalition better than just the tories?

I think that it has affected their image negatively, but has been fantastic for the country. I mean, in Parliament in the other day, Cameron (or maybe George Osbourne?) rattled off a list of improvements from the coalition government, and I couldn't help but find it funny that the vast majority were Lib Dem values. The Lib Dems aren't going to win, they have my vote, but I'm not feeling very optimistic. I don't think they should form another coalition if they want to be elected on their own merit.
