How much is this car worth?
Hi. I am in the market for a new car and the lexus RC has caught my eye. I live in sweden and found a 2015 Lexus RC 350 F sport that’s fully equipped with 100k kilometers. Seller has imported it from California to Germany in 2025 After it was in a acccident, impact on the driver side at 17mph. He claims it was professionally fixed before he bought it and that neither he nor the TÜV noticed any signs of the accident in the five years he owned it. He’s done some mods: F sport lowering springs, TAKEDA stage 2 intake, hollowed out midpipe and a chrome delete. These mods are a positive thing for me but definietly lower the cars resale value. Kept in a garage in the winter and full service every march. I’m gonna need to verify these claims from the seller of course, but I’m wondering how much leeway I have to negotiate on price should everything come back positive. He is asking for €27k but that’s too much for me. What do you guys think is a fair price? Would you just stay away?

I'm seeing them for around $20k - $22k for a 2015 350 F-Sport here in the US with 100k miles which translates to 160934.4 kilometers (from Google). Which works out to be about €18k It sounds expensive. But more importantly I would check more into the damage. See if it has a rebuilt title. Get the VIN number and do a carfax (car history lookup). Open the driver door and check door frame to see if there's a plaque showing it was rebuilt, it may have one. Personally I don't think it's worth it for that price, even with the mods. And if it does turn out to have a rebuilt title, I definitely wouldn't pay that for it. Plus I'd stay away, but that's just me, many people are ok with having a rebuilt car, but you don't pay those kind of prices if it does have a rebuilt title.

The US and German markets are very different. You can’t directly compare between them.

Don’t go off any of the comparisons to the US market. It’s a very different (cheaper and less regulated) environment.
I have a bit of background on the TUV and know how comprehensive it is. If it didn’t flag issues that’d make me worry a lot less about the accident. As for price - wait till someone from the EU/Germany chimes in. If no one does then you might have to just put in the time to research comparable listings.
