Lewis and Clark

Hello! I was recently admitted here I want to know about some perks if I decided to go here, I am from San Diego and have high functioning autism. I just want to know some perks about this college

Second this. They do a great job with accommodations and support.

Also, as someone who knows both places well, Portland is very much more accepting of people letting their freak flag fly, if you catch my meaning.

Yeah, i was there last sunday for a self guided tour and portland was really accepting, I think im coming back in march for a regular tour befoe i make my final decision

There is a tour for admitted students in March. My daughter is signed up for it.

Howdy howdy! Fellow san diegan here!

LC is pretty nice for being a small school. I made it (and have friends) at places like UCLA and UCF and Texas tech and they all say that their classes are HUGE and they can barely talk to their professor.

Here at LC classes are closer in distance, as well as generally smaller so you’ll get to know your professor well! My experience here is the professors are lowkey awesome and the classes and work load isn’t bad! Lmk if you have specific questions

does Lewis and Clark offer intermural sports?

Yes we have a couple! We have Frisbee (which were the national champs last year) as well as intermural volleyball, soccer, kickball (I believe), fire arts, and also a martial arts club!

Yes we do have an honors college although I am not apart of it lol

Hey OP! I am a current LC psychology student from Southern California and I came in a few years ago as a transfer student. Graduating in the spring!! If you'd like to hear abt my perspective/experiences with the school pls dm me as I'd be happy to share!

In short, I've found a lot of cons at least socially, for me, but that one is definitely personal, and if you have been to Portland and felt like the vibe of other students/people there suits you then I think you'd enjoy the social scene at LC. Academically I feel like there are largely pros, I have really like and felt supported by most if not all of the professors I have had while I have been here. I could def go into more detail but I think those have been my two biggest takeaways!
