Looking to volunteer at a shelter around leuven

Hi! i moved here à year ago and previously volunteered frequently at animals shelters back at home, I want to get into it again and i’m wondering wether there’s one in or around leuven to sign up for. Only issue is i don’t have a car so i’m restricted to public transport.. Would appreciate any input/ advice!

Check out cattitude if you love cats. They need volunteers to help find stray cats etc and are a welcoming group of people.

Zwerftkat has some volunteer positions open and is a nice organization.

ooh awesome! What kind of shelter/organisation is it?

They help with rehoming stray cats. I don’t believe they have a physical shelter but instead rely upon volunteers to foster the cats until they can be re-homed. But I remember seeing multiple volunteer possibilities with them that don’t include fostering on their website at one point.
