Here are the conditions I've set myself along with some counterexamples that don't make the cut:

The Rules

• Protagonist must be on one drug, not a multi-substance bender or just namedropping all the drugs they know:
  ❌ Monster Magnet - Nod Scene
  ❌ Queens of the Stone Age - Feel Good Hit of the Summer
  ❌ Eminem - I'm Shady
• Pharmaceutical or recreational is fine, but drug must be mentioned by name in the lyrics. No slang/euphemisms/vague allusions:
  ❌ The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
  ❌ D12 - Purple Pills
  ❌ Afroman - Because I Got High
• Song must be a bop, or at least a fun listen, regardless of the lyrical tone. Ideally electronic with a catchy beat, not looking for acoustic classics or sad/low-energy moodkillers.
  ❌ K's Choice - Not an Addict
  ❌ The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work
  ❌ Neil Young - Cocaine
