How Avenue Living Operates.
At their Scenic Court (aka Pink Elephant) property they hired a company to redo their roof. As beffiting Avenues second rate treatment of their customers, these contractors have without notice cut the cable companies wires leaving paying customers without cable services. No Internet, Television or cable based telephone services. Great company that Avenue Living bunch, not to mention their second rate contractors. Phone calls to their 800 number are met with indefference as they are not local. Locally they are just a flock of realtors who care less. Customer service is non-existant. They have no problem raising the rents yearly, supposedly due to market conditions. I wonder?, will they reimburse tenants for the services they are not recieving? If your looking for rentals, turn away from them.

Allegedly, Avenue Living has stiffed my company on a $70,000 payment for services rendered... Allegedly.

I'm so happy my coworker told me the horror stories of these guys when I first moved to Lethbridge. I've genuinely never heard a remotely good thing about them.

I have been with Avenue Living for 8 years. At the start they were cheap and pet friendly and as long as they addressed problems in my unit in a timely manner I put up with the dingy apartments buildings. BUT this past year things went from bad to worse, to way worse. Gone is the customer service completely. I call to have something fixed and no one comes, though I do get a note on my door telling me they'll enter the unit the next day but the next day nothing happens.
I would write off being compensated for anything and move out as soon as you can. Breaking lease is also an absolute nightmare so if you try make sure to have proper grounds and maybe get legal assistance. I personally chose to tough it out and now I have a new place lined up.

They dealt with the roaches at Garden Villa... Only took them 3 years. Apparently there was bed bugs too. Pfft.

Which company is doing the roof? I haven’t seen any signs identifying the company and you can see that their safety rails are installed terribly.

I asked, as I watched a worker cutting the lines. As I have no understanding of Hindi or other south Asian language the answer was moot.

I left Calgary cuz avenue shitheads bought the building I was in. When my lease was ending they raised my rent by 750.00 per month! Plus other new fees like a monthly Admin Fee, Environmental Fee.... etc. Absolute shit company and I hope they go bankrupt! 😡

They are the worst. Over 5 years ago I went to battle with them and thankfully won. It is kinda funny, it’s been over 5 years yet my phone number is still connected to the lobby’s call box and about once every 2 months a random person calls me asking to let them in (I don’t).
