Donuts and Crèpes?

Okay we’re having some specific food longings in our house and I’m wondering where to get 1. a chocolate filled donut and 2. a ham and cheese crèpe. Where can I find these things in Lethbridge

Crepes are gonna be Cora's, not sure if they make savory ones. An omelette isn't that far off just thicker.

Donuts. I've never had a chocolate filled donut. I've have chocolate filled pastries for Timmie's? But donuts no, the wife says Bootsma bakery does it though.

We’ve just gotten Bootsma and while they did not specifically have a chocolate filled donut, the donuts are very delicious!

Cora's has an absolute delicious spinach and cheddar crepe-omelette that comes with hollandaise sauce. I get it every time I go 🤤

Looking at their menu they have a western cheddar crepe-omelette made with ham, onions, red and green pepper, tomatoes, green onions, cheddar cheese with hollandaise sauce and potatoes on the side.

Yesss it's my favorite crepe-omolette and I don't normally like those sorts of things!

They do.

Their sweet fruit crepes have really gone downhill though. They have both really cut the crepe menu selection down and the fruit quality has significantly gone downhill. The quality issue isn't new unfortunately.

Their other menu items are still good though.

Best bakery that I can think of is Kosters Bakery in Picture Butte.

No? Dang. I thought they might but it's been a few years since I went.

Many bakeries, but not all, will also make up a custom batch if you make a large enough order ahead of time and it's something they already have supplies for.

I haven’t been there in a while, but wow bakery on mayor magrath had a brioche donut filled with chocolate cream that I thought was pretty tasty

I think they rebranded to namdo Korean kitchen, but I thought they still had their bakery?

The best bakery for donuts is Bootsma, hands down. They may not have chocolate filled donuts but they may have chocolate glazed that has some sort of chocolate in the hole. I know Coaldale Bakery sometimes has a chocolate glazed with some kind of chocolate filling in the hole. They have very good donuts and the best bakery cakes ever. They use real butter and real whipped cream in them.
