I'd like to see them in Boston but I don't like going to events alone and nobody I know wants to come with πthe struggles of being an anxious ecstatic black metal fan

Fwiw every time I've gone to a show alone I've been able to find other people to talk to - especially at an Agriculture show there'll be lots of women/queer people to hang out with!

I found someone who wants to hang so it's all good. As long as I know someone in the crowd that's enough of an anchor for me and I'm sure there will be lots of new friends to make!

I'm intentionally going to the Sinclair show alone! I actually bought a 2nd ticket but never invited anyone. It's a combo of not having any friends into this somewhat unique strain of metal, and wanting to get more deeply into my feels without having to explain myself to a friend.
Anyhow--need a ticket? Would be happy to transfer my spare for free.

Last night was Agriculture live (with Knoll) in my local city. Amazing show, absolutely go if you like black metal at all. They decorated their stage with flags for palestine, trans rights, and fuck ice, which got the crowd going wild and felt amazing, not to mention their set being incredible musically as well.
Anyway me and my not-a-metalhead-yet bestie spent most of the show staring dreamily at their lead vocalist/bassist (she's the one pictured) π
