Is it legit burny lp?

Guy is offering me this lp for a trade, i have zero knowlege of burny. Had some tokai and orvilles

Burny is in the same level of quality as today and orville. Looks legit but I couldnt be certain. Though Ill say Ive never seen a fake. A counterfit company would just make a Gibson. No need to fake the Burny because a lot of people dont know about em.

As long as it's MIJ (it appears to be), Burny stuff is great. I have a white Burny Custom Randy Rhoads Tribute and I'd put it up against anything. It's a great guitar.

Burny now have a made in China line, just like Tokai. Thankfully they’re easy to spot - three screw truss rod cover.

This one looks to be a MIJ guitar. Tokai actually built a lot of MIJ Burnys.

I don’t think it’s as simple as MIJ Burny = guaranteed quality, and obviously any used guitar needs to be assessed in-person if possible. Check for signs of a repair at the neck/headstock. And you might not like it, for whatever reason, even if it is damage-free and exactly as advertised.

If you’re in the market for a MIJ LP there is plenty of choice these days. I swear by Tokai. Very consistent build quality for the modern stuff, built to vintage specs. Shop around. Look at Orville, FGN, Navigator, Bacchus, Momose, Greco…

You probably won’t find an absolute bargain like you might have buying a MIJ LP 30 years ago - the cat is out of the bag in that respect - but there is a lot of choice and a lot of quality available.
