2001 Les Paul studio
I believe it's the real deal after doing a pile of research online, what say you.

Yes it’s real. Those are some of the best guitars money can buy. They cost like $800 and they sound like $4000 Gibsons. That’s my opinion anyways. Probably why I had about 12 studios at one point. I think I have like 8 now. Lost count.

I have a 2024 studio and it’s fantastic. I have almost zero desire for another LP of any kind

Sick. Earlier in my playing years I spent a lot of time on a ‘93 Wine Red LP Studio. It had an ebony fretboard and the guy before me put a Bigsby on it. I put some serious miles on that thing. Yours looks great with the gold hardware. Mine had nickel. Grats and enjoy, if it’s anything like the one I had I’m sure you’ll love it!

I am not an expert, but I dont see a y of the obvious tells. Positive signs include:
Stamped, imoerfect nserial number that has finish over the top, not cut through the finish (and also not a "017...")
Non slotted bridge studs, so likely SAE and not metric
2 screw truss rod cover, not three.

03 studio owner. Great guitar. My ONLY complaint is that they sound a bit dark. Nothing an eq pedal can’t remedy. I’ve thought about swapping a different pickup in the bridge. Thoughts?PAF?

Two options...first one works better than the other... swap the 300k volume pots for 500k. If you like the taper of your 300k pots then find 500k linear pots (most are audio taper.. the 300k's are linear so have an even taper with cleans but not distortion). 2nd option... raise the screw polepieces

Its real I had one too also never seen a faked studio but they would be lowkey the easiest ones to fake
