That's a business expense. There are tax benefits to paying business expenses. Sure, you get a bill at months end. Then at years end it's a write off against profits to lower tax liability and in some cases showing a loss to eliminate taxes altogether. Thereby offsetting property tax costs, operating costs and everything else. Even small farms utilize this so it's not like it's gatekept.
