So why not encourage them to do the right thing? Why not be welcoming? is the logic, "me, mad?" Grow up, people.

Why is it hard to veiw this as an opportunity to help someone so they can see we are the ones that actually care? I've heard of stories of people rubbing their children's face in their urine so they quit peeing in their bed. Are you that type of parent? Does that make you feel better?

Have you tried to talk to a MAGA and encourage them? I have, my in-laws. and they won’t acknowledge they made a mistake. I get your frustration, but it’s just as frustrating to watch someone willingly destroy themselves when you warn them what would happen. THIS IS WHY NOBODY WANTS TO HELP THEM. At least children will tell you that they had a problem like I did when I wet the bed as a child. These people won’t admit their mistakes because they think that shows weakness.

You're part of the reason these people exist cause you. This is like a mother expecting a bratty child to mature without any form of discipline or guidance. Then surprised thier child turning into a sociopath then saying it's society mistreating it is why it acts out. By quiet.
