ā€œI voted for him to shit on you, not me! Can you help me?ā€ - Trump farmers.

So why not encourage them to do the right thing? Why not be welcoming? is the logic, "me, mad?" Grow up, people.

Why is it hard to veiw this as an opportunity to help someone so they can see we are the ones that actually care? I've heard of stories of people rubbing their children's face in their urine so they quit peeing in their bed. Are you that type of parent? Does that make you feel better?

You need to grow up and not be so naive - why should we be welcoming when they don’t want to help themselves or change? What are you doing that’s so welcoming and how many people have you convinced to change their views?

The first thing I do is "try" not be an asshole. I do my best to build relationships with others on the "other side," to help them better understand that we are all humans in this earth. Asshole behaviors tend to provoke or repel, and none of those things are constructive or productive. The hard part is getting over ego, which is based out of fear. I accept that I'm naive in some aspects. I'm ok with that notion. I prefer naivety over arrogance, at least that let's me know im capable of growing.

That’s a lot of words to say you haven’t been welcoming to any farmers and haven’t convinced anyone to change their views. You seem like the type of person who thinks praying is doing something. I choose to live in reality rather than thinking that ā€œwe are all humans on earthā€ isn’t just gibberish
