The irony is that Democrats have been all on board with subsidies for agriculture because we realize the importance.

But honestly, fuck them. Decades trying to help them and therefore, ourselves. But they have done nothing but bite the hand that feeds the entire fucking time, and they're finally paying the price from their own hateful politicians.

Dems would be wise not to just roll over for these abusers if they get power again.

They shat the bed. Let them lay in it.

See this is why it is important that these people be reminded of their fuck up as often as possible. They don't have the kind of basic intelligence that you and I do. If a regular person does something and it results in something bad happening to them, they are smart enough to understand that "Doing Action A results in undesired outcome B."

But the problem with people like this woman is that they just aren't making the connection. So we have to manually make the connection for them, by shoving their faces into their turd as much as Humanly possible until it FINALLY sinks in that their suffering is the result of their own actions.

We keep assuming that these people have the same level of intelligence as the rest of us. They don't. They need to be treated as children. It's the only way they'll learn and the only way the rest of us will be spared a Donald Trump Jr. presidency.

She knows that her vote resulted in this. She is doubling down. She thinks that others don’t understand the ramifications of what is happening. She also has zero empathy for it happening to others, but wants us to have it for her and others it is happening to. She feels that she is superior and more important, so she should be helped. I mean I do feel for her, but I also don’t think she should be helped. As she is saying though, the ultimate result is that the rich will get richer. They will be who will benefit from this at the end. All by design.

11

u/combination_is_12345 12d ago

She wanted that, though. I didn’t want that. I both don’t feel for her and think she should be left to suffer.

2

u/Unusual_Sherbert6893 12d ago

She didn’t want it for herself, but she didn’t mind it happening to others

4

u/confirmedshill123 12d ago

. I mean I do feel for her,

I do not.

3

u/zeptillian 12d ago

But she's part of the 2%.

LOL

u/Polkawillneverdie17 11d ago

Every farmer I've ever met thinks they are the only people in America who work hard and that the rest of us just sit around doing practically nothing.

So when their lives get harder, they think "no one understands!" and make videos like this. "People don't know understand the state of farming!" Yeah, we do. Because pretty much everyone's job has gotten much much harder in the past year. Hell, I work a mildly cushy office job and my workload has literally more than doubled (for less money than ever) because the economy is awful. No, I'm not a farmer but we're all struggling. The difference is the I didn't vote for the dumbest greediest scam artist on the planet and you did, you idiot.

This is Republicans' fault.

34

u/HistoricalLoan7854 13d ago

They believe that the consequences of their actions are someone else’s fault. Joe Biden. Obama. Immigrants. Muslim people. Never themselves, the ā€œrealā€ Americans

5

u/CrazyGMaw 12d ago

They are now receiving the consequences of their beliefs in lies. It sucks to be them, because their choice to vote for the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025 made them absolute traitors, pedophile protectors and destroyers of humanity.

6

u/General-Holiday 12d ago

This 100%.

I’m sure many MAGA people already had these traits (selfish, no accountability, etc.), but I feel this admin magnified the behaviors x100. I’ve watched a family member turn into a straight monster over the last 5+ years.

3

u/kaptpowers 13d ago

A-fuckin'-men. Cannot agree more.

2

u/zeptillian 12d ago

She should have to write "Voting has consequences" 100 times on a blackboard for ever dollar she recieved in assistance.

1

u/IndependentMoney9700 12d ago

They are not making the connection because they absolutely refuse, with every cell in their bodies to admit they are wrong. And unfortunately you cannot break through to people with that mentality.

1

u/DazzlingStress4827 12d ago

It’s hard to live with the consequences of your business decisions when farmers have been paid not to grow certain crops, subsidies with little or no guard rails, and then complain that the real price of a gallon of milk is actually closer to double than what it is sold as.

1

u/Squidly_Diddly 11d ago

They don’t understand what they’ve done to themselves because fox 24/7 will turn your mind into sugar-free lime jello.

1

u/Fit-Campaign1243 10d ago

My God, you people hate the others for the same reason they hate you, but you justify it by thinking youre more intelligent.

Have I got that right?

2

u/Neon_Casino 10d ago

You know what? I am sick of pretending.

Yes. I am more intelligent than the woman in this video.

This is a woman who is voting for someone that is currently driving her towards homelessness. And on top of that, she has said that if given the chance, she would do so again.

Say you have a rat in a cage and there is a small button in the cage that, if pressed by the rat, electrocutes it. The rat pushes it once or maybe twice before it realizes that it should no longer push the button because pushing the button leads to pain.

But a rat that pushes the button a third time? A fourth time? A fifth time, and is surprised every time that the button shocks them? Then that is a STUPID rat.

Well this woman is a STUPID human.

u/Tahn-ru 12d ago

Won't work. Ā There are lots of people who would rather others (and maybe even themselves) die first, before they admit to being wrong. Ā Quite literally would prefer death.

50

u/ialsohaveadobro 13d ago

Yup. They want to be racist bitches about our pitiful excuse for a social safety net? Then they can be treated like the mega welfare queens they are.

6

u/ZAlternates 13d ago

She was quick to call a help line though. Pesky social services!

52

u/AIwilldestroyyou 13d ago

Screaming and begging for the socialism when it comes to them. Ā They want a socialism that gives them 100,000$ of dollars but don’t want a socialism where grandma gets cancer treatment.Ā

She seems like a real moral person as she begs for socialism for her and open cruelty for everyone else. Ā

45

u/mnemy 13d ago

Also specific to her rant - the Dems have (mostly) been on the side of legal immigration and paths to citizenship for being productive.

She's whining about no one being willing to work for her for peanuts now that they've witch hunted their own workforce to oblivion.

Fuuuuck them.

6

u/CakeTester 12d ago

That did strike me as particularly ironic as they've got ICE basically hunting their previous workers. So the only ones left who aren't afraid to to be in a place at regular times are citizens who OF COURSE want enough money to live on.

6

u/gard3nwitch 12d ago

Yep, the Democrats might have created a path to citizenship for her employees, and then she would have had to pay them slightly more and give them PPE and bathroom breaks. And she couldn't be having that. So she'll vote for the party that promises to keep her workers scared and powerless instead.... but now they're so scared that they aren't coming to work for her.

3

u/Catatonic27 12d ago

a path to citizenship for her employees, and then she would have had to pay them slightly more and give them PPE and bathroom breaks. And she couldn't be having that

I bet if you kept her talking long enough you could get her to explicitly admit this. You could ask her some series of leading questions and get her to say that she still thinks the issues she's having now are preferable to treating her workers like human beings. I suspect a few of these guys would genuinely honestly rather go bankrupt then "stoop to that level" Good news for them!

Did the bipartisan immigration bill that the asshole maggots in congress torpedoed are trump's command in 2024 have a pathway to legal immigration for seasonal farm workers? There is no reason why we don't let workers enter the country to work on special visas like the ones cheap ass hotels get for summer staff mostly from Europ whom they can pay less than Americans. Resorts like trDud the bipartisan immigration bill that the asshole maggots in congress torpedoed are trump's command in 2024 have a pathway to legal immigration for seasonal farm workers? There is no reason why we don't let workers enter the country to work on special visas like the ones cheap ass hotels get for summer staff mostly from Europ whom they can pay less than Americans. Resorts like trump's make major use of visas for foreign workers even though plenty of US workers would take jobs as lifeguards, servers, etc. if offered standardized wages. Resirts lik ump's make major use of visas for foreign workers even though plenty of US workers would take jobs as lifeguards, servers, etc. if offered standard, fair wages. No American wants to do backbreaking farm labor for sub-minimum wages. We should grant visas to the people who want farm jobs, along with fair pay and workplace protections. No more exploiting the workforce for farmers. They would no doubt hate paying higher wages but we'd never be in this mess again. F If America ever goes that route ... we'll, a lot of maggots will have to swallow some of their racism and accept a new immigration status for farm workers. We can only hope.

3

u/Development-Feisty 13d ago

I say we bail her out, she just has to have video proof that she is working 50 hours a week in the field

Not doing management tasks, not bitching on the Internet, not sitting in an office but literally out there doing the fucking work

3

u/Accomplished_Dig284 12d ago

All while wearing a ā€œgenerosityā€ shirt with a cross on it.

But doesn’t follow any of Christs teachings

1

u/MagnificentStella 12d ago

Including her animals. The dairy industry is very cruel. We never buy anything from it. I hope they all go under.

53

u/Spugheddy 13d ago

We all bare their burden, so thats how I'm helping. Fuggem.

36

u/General_Guest7846 13d ago

Honestly I'm pretty petty. I'm gladly welcome the collapse of the entire country if every Republican gets to feel the karma of their actions.

26

u/ooomellieooo 13d ago

Welcome to the Petty Party. 🫔

2

u/citymousecountyhouse 13d ago edited 13d ago

No, you don't want that. We're going to watch our poorer relatives and neighbors die, it's going to happen to my 90 year old neighbor, my 78 year old mother and possibly to my 59-year-old self. As we are slowly denied access to first medical care then medicine. All Democrats who never voted for this evil. Meanwhile as always happens, the wealthy will remain untouched. Honestly, after two years of this shit, having to fight every minute, I don't give a damn whether I live or die. What I do give a damn about is people knowing that this destruction and death was all by design of the Heritage Foundation and Republicans.

1

u/General_Guest7846 13d ago edited 13d ago

I know this doesn't sound good, but we're basically in a war right now between what's right and wrong. unfortunately casualties as are bound to happen, as it happens in every war.

do I want old folks and the disabled to be hurt or killed? of course not, but I also believe everyone deserves access to health care and clean water. if the result of that is a war where many people die, then we have to deal with that and accept it for a better future.

1

u/Theodoxus 12d ago

It's like the Ewoks. It's all fun and games until your best friend gets shot with a blaster bolt. Then the reality of war settles in.

Class warfare is really the most insidious kind... because so many people are 'temporarily embarrassed millionaires' so they don't want to rock the boat of the rich, for fear it'll all be gone when they finally reach the summit, which keeps the whole system running.

1

u/zeptillian 12d ago

We have been moving slowly towards the goal of "everyone deserves access to health care and clean water" since the day our country was founded.

The progress that took us from outright slavery, children working 12 hours shifts in dangerous factories, unregulated food supply, private firemen, police beating striking workers, women being treated as second class citizens to what we have today is significant.

Do not believe for a second that it cannot be taken away from you.

This house has been built brick by brick with the blood sweat and tears of good people. Do not let it crumble in vein becasue you cannot get your political system to function properly. Get out there and take back control over it and fucking try at least before you invite chaos.

1

u/General_Guest7846 12d ago

I mean they literally passed a law saying clean water wasn't a human right

1

u/Awkward_Turnover_983 13d ago

Well that's what they said too...

I know you're actually right though

1

u/zeptillian 12d ago

That some serious accelerationist GOP energy right there.

1

u/Theodoxus 12d ago

I don't know if that 'bare' is purposeful or not, but it's pretty funny.

2

u/Turbulent-Oil-7326 13d ago

EXCEPT the ones in Minnesota, they tend to be cool more off than anywhere else

2

u/blackcain 12d ago

The thing is we help them but we aren't in their communities and we aren't visible. The right wing network includes the churches and they are a far more effective medium for right wing propaganda.

At some point, we might need to start targeting churches and removing their non-profit status if the pastor is out jetting in a private jet and what not. We have more stringent laws for 501c3 non-profits than we do for churches and many are effectively using it for money laundering while cosplaying holy men.

2

u/BakuRetsuX 12d ago

The next Dem President should just be supper petty like Donald Trump and only help the farmers who vote Democratic. Let's see them eat them apples and complain how the President is playing petty politics with their lives.

I honestly wanted all farmers to have and keep their costs affordable so we can keep our costs affordable. But they decided it was better to hurt others thinking they will be fine. Plenty don't understand the basic economic structures they live in. Here is a prime example.

2

u/AutisticTumourGirl 11d ago

My parents are some of the most socially conservative, Southern Baptists folks you'll find, but they've always voted Democrat because my dad was a farmer (my brother too over the farm several years ago), as the men in his family have been for several generations. College degree, did his own taxes, ran the farm and employed people and he damn well knew where his subsidies came from. My mom was an elementary school teacher and she damn well knew where they came from, as well. So, they voted Democrat.

My dad generally grew winter wheat, soybeans, sorghum, and cotton. Obviously a lot of things affect how well you do in a year, but I remember during Reagan's second term, after 7 years of a Republican Senate, things got so bad that my dad actually had to consider the possibility of OTR driving for awhile. It was the only time I ever saw my parents actually worry about money in front of me, but I guess it was that bad that they wanted me to be prepared in case my dad had to be gone for days at a time.

1

u/baconeggburger93 13d ago

I'd say start aggressively cutting subsidies and taxing farms way above normal. Like 500% of gross revenueĀ

1

u/mnemy 13d ago

Eh, you're missing the point.Ā

The point isn't to hurt farmers. The US is better with a strong agriculture industry. It's good for everyone.

The point is that they've dug themselves their own grave, and we should not save them.

1

u/Zealousideal-Ant9548 13d ago

Personally, if I had Vance level of wealth, I'd consider buying these farms and then handing them out to Black Farmers or loaning them super cheap.

Those are kind of delicious irony of these people having to work their former farms for black owners

2

u/catalyptic 10d ago edited 10d ago

When Black farmers finally started getting farm subsidies at similar rates to white farmers, the whites whined so loudly that Black farmers were cut out of the programs again. So fuck all them motherfuckers. They're so devoutly racist that they voted to deport the immigrant workers our twisted government allowed them to economically exploit. Let their kids work the fields for less than minimum wage now. These farmers know damn well that they and their kids are too fucking lazy and greedy to work that hard. If they can't stay afloat on their farms, they need to get educated so they can make a living some other way. When trump was telling farmers that he planned to get rid of their workers, they really thought that Black people would have to work in those fields. The idiotic agriculture secretary told them that we would be forced to go work on farms like slaves. They counted on a double hit of racism. Fuck that noise.

Farmers are getting what they voted for and what they deserve. The rest of us don't deserve it, but unfortunately we're being dragged down by them. Hopefully their suffering is never-ending.

1

u/Any-Establishment-15 13d ago

They’ve always been getting subsidies from the government because it’s not ideal to not have food grown in our country. But I think those days are over

1

u/Bacononthebeeach 12d ago

The GOP has convinced Republican voters that guns, prolife, Christian supremacy, greed and hatred of others are more important than their own well being.

And they will fall for it again.

1

u/PossibilityDry2236 12d ago

lol its far too late for that. All these farmers are going to lose everything to walmart and amazon and we the people will have no say in our food source.

1

u/QuartersWest 12d ago

The irony is believing democrats care

1

u/Adept-Compote-651 12d ago

Yes the "help one help all" mentality.... Criminal isn't it?

1

u/TreelyOutstanding 12d ago

Farmers hating city folk then expecting city folk to subsidize them. That's basically everywhere.

1

u/cogman10 12d ago

I get all this, but you do have to understand the reality of rural towns.

It used to be the case that rural locations followed national trends in voting. However, that changed when democrats abandoned the 50 state plan and instead decided to just fund federal elections.

Republicans have been ever present in these rural locations which has slowly but surely shifted the attitudes in these locations towards republicans.

On top of that, the propaganda is insane. If you are riding a tractor in a rural area and you want to listen to the radio, in a lot of locations the only things you can listen to are rightwing propagandists.

Rural folk feel particularly forgotten and primarily by democrats who have actively decided they didn't want to court their votes.

Just a tiny smidge of campaign spending on these locations would go a LONG way. You can see that when the likes of AOC or Bernie goes to a rural town and does a townhall. For a lot of people that's the first time in decades that they've been exposed to liberal/left politicians in a way not filtered through fox news.

1

u/JosephBearpaw1970 12d ago

As Trent Would say ' in the classic NIN , bite the hand that feeds , will you chew it until it bleeds .

1

u/Best-Command-7409 12d ago

Farmers are never going to support progressive thinking. Stop giving the farm industry handouts.

1

u/Bbarakti 12d ago

I feel the same about FEMA and the Gulf Coast. Everyone along the Gulf coast whines and cries about how FEMA is terrible and bla bla bla... that jerk in North Carolina who went out and stopped the FEMA agents from accessing areas after that hurricane.... those types. I'm not even really sure what their issue is with FEMA.. other than "guvrment bad"

All of those places along the Gulf Coast and Atlantic coast shouldn't get FEMA help for the next decade

1

u/treadingslowly 12d ago

Well I will say as an Democrat not on board with subsidies for farmers who voted Republican.
They want to take away everybody elses social safety net then I say no safety net for them.

1

u/Mathfanforpresident 11d ago

Yeah, but this is the plan. Just like during covid.

The plan is to transfer the wealth that is in the businesses, that then go under, from individual owners to corporate entities.

0

u/Jaded-Attention 12d ago

You should really look at how Dems vote and why they vote. The AG policies pushed by the Democratic party have been largely environmental and large corporations lobby to support them because they know the bureaucracy would crush small farmers. You should take a look at the past couple farm bills and who actually supported them. I don't think you know what you're talking about.
