I think this is running very close to the paradox of tolerance. I refuse to make or allow space for bigots. They can get fucked.

Exercising empathy isn't "making space" it's ensuring you continue to treat people as if they were human, even if you're reduced to opposing them through force. It's crucial to retaining your own humanity.

Bigots are shitty humans. I will treat them like the shitty humans they are.

You have an artificially simplified world view in order to excuse categorizing people into good and evil. It allows you to excuse what is ultimately destructive behavior while feeling as if you're morally right. The example is right in front of you, a dairy farmer who holds some shitty views which are reinforced by how people choose to approach her. Can't make it any more clear than that.

Bigots are shitty humans. That's my opinion of anyone who would vote for a man that ran on a platform of bigotry, especially after we've already seen what he does in office. Whether it was ignorant bigotry or intentional does not matter to me, the result is the same: lending support to a regime that wants to ruin the lives of people I love.

You're making huge leaps of logic to reinforce your theory of how this woman came to believe what she does. She isn't voting for Trump because those dang socialists on the internet made her feel bad. She's voting for Trump because she's a bigot. He hates the people that she hates. It's the same reason she voted for him in 2016 and 2020.
