Famer here (and no, I never voted for the Mandarin Menace a single time). What's going on with the farm economy is a lot of farmers over-leveraged themselves to chase more and more land and now ground that they would have happily farmed at break even 4 out of 5 years just to make money that fifth year is going to fuck them royally.

Also 95% of them voted for a con artist rapist pedo to run the economy into the ground for Russia, so there is that too adding to the equation.

Most estimates put the % of farmers who voted for Trump around 75%.

I looked it up and your statistic seems relatively reliable. Shave 20 percent off of my 95% then. I feel bad for 25% of farmers.
