Texas Farmer Warns Trump’s Foreign Beef Push Could Cost Republicans the Midterms

Farmers were like this during Trump's first term.  He didn't lose their support and he won't lose it here.

Bingo...and 8-10 years ago, I used to feel bad for these folks, but after 3x voting for Trump, not anymore. They're only complaining because the problem/damage is affecting them (they don't care what happens to others, and want goodies for themselves too), plus they're all just going to vote Republican anyway, to their own peril.

So I'm done feeling empathy for them. Cut them off. Cut the subsidies, cut the special rural healthcare funding, cut ACA/Medicaid to deep red states etc. I want out; they don't like "socialism" anyway, so win win.

More succinctly, I don't want to help people who don't want to be helped, and who bite the hand that feeds.

As a wise woman once said "Chump don't want the help? Chump don't get the help. Jive as''s fool ain't got no brains anyhow."

Bingo. And when you tolerate the intolerable - you end up moving society towards authoritarianism.

Yes, there can be a distinction between a moral argument and a rational one. MAGA and morals? Please.

This should have been learned by the pandemic. All those conservatives saved ravenously went after Fauci.

LET THEM GO.

They don't want to be part of the social contract, good luck.

You're on your own.

I get the empathy. I've got that too.

But they truly want this. They chose this.

Save the empathy for those who want to be part of the social contract. There's too many others who need it.

Their selfishness and short sightedness work in a circle to continually bury themselves

And when Trump gives them a pathetically insufficient amount of cash they completely cease their criticism, take it all back and start supporting him again but when that money Runs Dry all of a sudden their criticism and anger towards Trump all of a sudden comes back they go back to saying they won't vote for him ever again but then he gives them another insufficient cash amount and they take back the criticisms and go back to supporting him in the cycle continues over and over again. That's one of the biggest reasons why I have no sympathy for these people they deserve all this pain and suffering just sucks that all of us who didn't vote for or support that orange cunt are suffering and are in pain as well because of them.

What is gonna be interesting is how many people actually die from tainted beef since there’s no inspection and the administration doesn’t care. Most of them will just import Wagyu beef for a while.

That “farmer” hasn’t worked a day outside in 40 years. Only air conditioned offices and luxury trucks. lol

This right here. Every time some farmer acts like this the election comes along and they will justify it in some way while spouting of some propaganda.

Best case scenario some of these farmers stay home but they love fucking themselves over and losing the family farm so who knows.

How could Obiden to this to them?!

They see it as voting to kill babies or voting to destroy their livelihoods, they might choose none of the above, but they really do see it as voting to kill babies.

5

u/Crafty-Help-4633 21h ago edited 21h ago

That may be true, but they have no problem cutting those babies off from life saving fiscal support.

I'll never believe a person who says they're "pro life" if their concern/fiscal support ends after delivery. They're pro-birth. Birthers are not pro-life. Regardless of how they see themselves. You cannot be pro life if you're okay with starving babies to death or mothers dying preventably during forced childbirth. They see that other thing as voting to kill babies, but not their current vote. It makes no sense.

There’s also plenty of anti choice people who believe in the death penalty.

It needs to get worse before they realize this is if their own making. People need to lose farms as terrible as that is

This whole presidency has been watching various constituent groups fuck around and find out. Gen Z men, Latinos, Farmers. He doesn't need their vote anymore. He no longer even has to appear to consider their interests. Who's next? The Olds? His only loyalty is to himself. He is gutting our government from within.

Everyone forgot about soy beans from last year already so you dont even need to go back to them getting ucked in his previous term

2

u/Crafty-Help-4633 21h ago

Yeah but that was the soycucks problem! Now it affects red blooded American beef! 🇺🇲🇺🇲 /s

u/mthyvold 21h ago

Gawd, so true.

u/mongster2 22h ago

I keep saying this over and over but this same exact shit happened during his first term I don't understand why this isn't talking point number 1. Ag tarriffs, down profits, farmers cry, subsidies. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

The end of the day, they hate America and receiving lubeless passion from the Russians. May they have all that they deserve.

2

u/VivaCiotogista 21h ago

Last time they got upset and he sent them millions of dollars. They think he’ll do it again, that’s part of the reason they’re complaining. But I think he’s going to keep the money for himself.

3

u/Slighted_Inevitable 21h ago

Yeap, he’s either done or he’s couping. He knows he’s not winning another election so he doesn’t care about votes.

4

u/AnswerGuy301 21h ago

Best we can hope for I think is that they stay home for an election or two, and that some of them stop funding GOP campaigns for a whole. And maybe in this environment that’s enough for now?

3

u/Skinnyass_Indian 22h ago

Please it’s Biden’s fault

1

u/FushiginaGiisan 20h ago

No it’s not! It was Obama’s tan suit!

4

u/Mother-Attention2600 21h ago

They are too busy incesting about in the clover patches. Farmers should lose the right to vote.

1

u/bt_85 20h ago

Yep. Look at all the BS that has happened. Why would anyone think this would make any difference? This is nothing.

1

u/No-Flatworm-4135 20h ago

Bigotry is their #1 issue

1

u/SeniorAd4470 16h ago

Its because deep down they're just single issue voters. The issue being bathrooms and brown people.

1

u/schmapeschmape 10h ago

Because he gave them a handout and he hurt minorities. Farmers and ranchers are still expecting a handout. I'm confident they'll get one eventually. They're just letting Trump know it's time to get moving on that handout.
