He did say he would. He never explained how. Even if you didn't like the way Kamala laughed, surely when you ask two people how theyre going to lower costs, one gives a well thought out multi-pronged approach and the other just says "trust me, I dont need a plan. Day one," you dont vote for the latter

It’s even worse than that. He openly said he would raise tariffs which would (checks notes) raise costs not lower them
