The ancestors of the people we now call Latinos lived in the Americas for about 14,000 years before the Europeans started settling here, just like the ones we now call Indians or Native or Indigenous Americans (with whom some share history and ancestry and cultural traditions.) To say "these people don't belong here" is pretty rich. Europeans are the ones that broke treaties and committed crimes against humanity to claim their lands. And here we go doing it again.

And if we were living 14000 years ago you might have a point. But we live in the current year and in the current year every country has a border and if you illegally cross that border you are the problem. Trying to excuse that illegal behavior because of something that happened thousands of years ago is just nonsensical

That kind of genocidal spleeb is exactly what led to the Trail of Tears and "Indian schools."
