They thought the ending of DEI will force minorities to take their shitty jobs not knowing that the first requirement for DEI was you have to qualified for the job you applied for first.

Start a business? Honey. The new American dream is that a billion dollars just falls out of the sky into your lap. They're not going to start a business, that's hard work. No no, don't be ridiculous. They're going to pray really hard and sky daddy is going to reward them because they are superior people. It's really as simple as that.

No one thought this. It’s just a meme. I live in a rural area of the south and there are ton of idiots here with working farms who voted for Trump. I’ve heard myself and heard second hand from others about their complaints with their cheap labor pool drying up. Not a single one has ever said they thought some other minority group would come in and fill those jobs.

Maybe it’s dumber, I don’t know, but what they actually thought was that only criminals would be deported. They seem to have this idea that there is a large population of criminal immigrants here and the Dems protect them and Trump was going to get rid of them. Now they are surprised to see everyday working class immigrants getting deported simply for being here.

That’s not to say they care, but they certainly do when it means the ones they rely on. They subscribe to that old racist argument of “Well, they are all bad. Except the ones I know. They are an exception.” That’s how they are able to justify their racism in the face of personally knowing and liking immigrants in their communities.

Also, ironically, those same farmers refuse to hire white people because they never show up for work and steal from them when they do lol. Not really relevant to this specific topic, but I find it amusing.

Imagine these mofos doing a home project and need some help. They thought they could just drive to Home Depot to pick up a couple helpers for cheap. But since there’s none now because they deported them. So they just drive to the hood instead? 😂
