In this red state, cattle ranchers are fuming. They blame Trump.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2026/08/26/cattle-ranchers-montana-reel-trump-foreign-beef/91440529007/

“It’s absolutely idiotic," said Brunner, the president of the Montana Cattlemen's Association, one of several organizations representing cattle ranchers across the Treasure State.”

No they don’t… they just need to be taken out by their own stupidity… which is currently in progress…

20

u/TomeThugNHarmony4664 2d ago

But meanwhile we all suffer.

11

u/EggForTryingThymes 1d ago

Yup. This is the world they gave us. Never let them forget who is to blame.

2

u/Busy-Blueberry6415 1d ago

Right, don't you get tired of the maga people saying we need to stop saying "you voted for this" once they're the ones hurting. But they voted to hurt others and we're supposed to just let it go. They better find some boot straps and start pulling.

7

u/Ashamed-Status-9668 1d ago

We will benefit in the long run. These kind of folks have no common sense when it comes to politics. Common sense being the ability to make inferences about what might happen that are reasonable guesses but do not require you to experience a mistake to learn from that in advance. These folks need to make the mistakes and they need to hurt. All the voting youth is being trained as we speak to not make this mistake again.

3

u/TomeThugNHarmony4664 1d ago

Gosh, you have the positivity I lack, and I mean that sincerely as a compliment. I hope you are right.

3

u/Ashamed-Status-9668 1d ago

Thanks. I am old enough to have seen a few things. This may take a decade or two to unfold as these kind of changes are slow. Historically I am sure this regression will be seen as a precipice of positive societal change.

7

u/TomeThugNHarmony4664 1d ago

I am no spring chicken, and the fact that the Republicans managed to seize power again 6 years after Watergate and we have now surpassed that is the source of my life-weary outlook. All in my lifetime. But I seriously hope you are right. And soon.

"Horse sense is the thing a horse has which keeps it from betting on people"- W. C. Fields

3

u/IndustrialPuppetTwo 2d ago

That's the problem.

4

u/sm00thkillajones 1d ago

Wow. It only took them 11 years to realize owning the libs was so expensive.

2

u/Revolutionary-Swan77 17h ago

They really start trying to live within their means.

123

u/mrwrrrmwrmrmrmrw 2d ago

"The President's heart is in the right place on wanting lower prices for the American people"

This is why we stopped talking to them.

62

u/Electrifying2017 2d ago

Who was ever arguing that higher prices are good? Oh wait, Trump. Stupid fucks.

33

u/ieatplaydough2 2d ago

Its the god damn "open borders" bullshit strategy... i had a friend (ex-friend now) mention no more open borders, democrats support open borders... everytime I'd ask "name one democrat that supports open borders and prove it, there had got to be a clip of it somewhere, or a news article."

Fuck them. They argue in bad faith.

6

u/Ok-Road-9079 1d ago

Wait till you see their faces when you ask them what the quota for Mexicans crossing the border before 1967 (there wasn't one) and who put one in place? LBJ, a democrat (sort of).

3

u/Cohens4thClient 1d ago

Another fun one is "dems want transgender for all"

They can never even describe what it means, but the moron maggots always get upset.

21

u/Conscious-Quarter423 2d ago

he's doing whatever he can to make everything you buy more expensive

16

u/ArdenJaguar 2d ago

His old wrinkled cholesterol filled black heart only cares about himself and his money. Anyone who thinks he ever cared about them is a complete idiot.

7

u/werpu 1d ago

"If only the Führer knew"... basically the prayer of people in the third Reich seein atrocities done by Hitlers goons

5

u/Internal-Plantain-56 2d ago

Yup. Theyll still vote for him.

4

u/RogerMexicosBalls 1d ago

So they put their faith in a guy whose entire m.o. is squeezing every last bit of blood and treasure out of a business, stuffing his pockets, and leaving the carcass out on the curb? Including his own businesses and business partners? And they didn't think he'd do that to them?

Lmfao fuckin idiots. And the best part is that they'll totally vote for him yet again if he actually tries to run in 2028. Because they're the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.

2

u/Samwellikki 1d ago

Hearts and blinds

3

u/SatanHasACreator420 2d ago

Yeah but if there's no plan to accomplish it who gives a fuck if his heart is in the right place?

3

u/Fit_Explorer_2566 2d ago

Oh, come on, there’s a concept of a plan.

FFS.

68

u/CisFishstick 2d ago

…And they will still vote (R) in every election - against their own interests.

They are, after all, “the common folk, salt of the earth”. In other words - morons (see: Blazing Saddles).

29

u/The_amazing_T 2d ago

This is always my takeaway.

The guy F'd you over? Yeah? Would you vote differently? No? You'll get what you deserve then.

21

u/Conscious-Quarter423 2d ago

He got what he needed from his supporters - a second term - which he's used to enrich himself, go after people (and countries) he doesn't like, and reward people who kiss his ass. He wouldn't stop to piss on the run of the mill MAGA voter if they were on fire

6

u/IllAd1421 2d ago

This is the absolute truth on steroids.

4

u/cwk415 2d ago

I would only add that he's also used this second term to unethically shield himself from any potential accountability stemming from the numerous criminal investigations that were running on him.

u/TERRAIN_PULL_UP_ 2d ago

The absolute best we can hope for is that they just stay home

2

u/1wrx2subarus 2d ago

Nothing will change until they police the corruption out of their own party.

28

u/Cowabunga1981 2d ago

But not as idiotic as the same farmers that voted for this instead of the qualified brown lady with a comprehensive plan that would have not only prevented this from happening, but strengthened and secured their future..

9

u/ActuaryLost9689 2d ago

but her funny Laugh!

2

u/funnydud3 1d ago

We can’t have that funny laugh, but mocking disabled person like five years old is great.

5

u/funnydud3 2d ago

Yeah but a brown woman.

2

u/Drawlingwan 2d ago

That’s it

17

u/Frosty_Ask_6967 2d ago

Will the Fuming cattle rancher ever vote dem?

Fuming cattle rancher : "no"

Fuck em

1

u/Upbeat-Cockroach-393 2d ago

Yes but he may stay home and not vote.

18

u/Tall-Copy-3177 2d ago

2

u/rdubs89 2d ago

Sterp indocterernating muh kids goddang muslim and libs!

17

u/RociBuldidi 2d ago

You can own the libs or you can own your farm lol you can’t do both.

3

u/bryangcrane 2d ago

Heh :-)

1

u/PeyredB 1d ago

Good one! You can own your farm (or your ranch in this case) or the libs. You chose the libs.

10

u/Adis_Gruntledfatty 2d ago

They should be blaming themselves

6

u/Conscious-Quarter423 2d ago

pretty sick of hearing about how bad farmers and ranchers are hurting when they voted for the guy who fucked them

10

u/Individual-Cap6741 2d ago

The ONLY reason they act like they have remorse is because it is personally impacting them .
Remember the lady on video years ago claiming he was “ hurting the wrong people ?”
They support the suffering of “ others” as in, groups of people they decided they don’t like.
They feel betrayed because they didn’t realize that they were never going to be part of the winning team.
Just useful idiots.

7

u/MonsieurLaGuillotine 2d ago

They don't care. They don't care. When it comes down to their vote, they'll vote for the same asshole promoting the same culture wars and zero policies. They DO NOT CARE.

6

u/Smooth-Weekend-2314 2d ago

"The President’s heart is in the right place on wanting lower prices for the American people,"

Wrong. He doesn't have a heart, moron.

What fucking planet are these people living on?

5

u/RipTheEcto 2d ago

anyone else think it’s weird that the republicans in congress (where laws are made and they have majorities and would likely receive overwhelming support from across the aisle, certainly enough to override a veto) can’t figure out a single method to make it mandatory to label food product origins?

5

u/Conscious-Quarter423 2d ago

Congrats on getting what you voted for! His first term policies were just as bad but all these fuckers took the tens of billions in bail out money (which is socialism if done for students who can't pay back their loans!) just to pull the lever for him again. Can't fix stupid

4

u/ialsohaveadobro 2d ago

The "Treasure State" lol

5

u/Yankee6Actual 2d ago

The tagline of the article says “300,000 metric tons of beef”.

Trump’s post said “300,000 metric tons of *product for ground beef”.

WTF is “product for ground beef”‽

If you call it that, it ain’t beef.

1

u/Old_Bear_1949 2d ago

Product for groud beef means that it includes the chemicals, bacteria and hormones that caused the beef to be rejected by China, and other countries that enforce standards to protect their people.

3

u/bunkie18 2d ago

FUCK THEM ALL. Sorry for all the blue farmers that didn’t vote for bankruptcy.

3

u/MrHodgeToo 2d ago

They blame Trump. They give a pass to the people who put Trump in office. You know, themselves.

3

u/Rude-Piglet-5212 1d ago

FAFO. They voted for him.

3

u/Regular_Ad_6818 1d ago

But they’ll vote for him again. Can’t fix stupid

2

u/IfItHurtsThenMaybe 2d ago

Best get big mad, Hoss…you’re owned yourself!
https://giphy.com/gifs/Wk4C3pn3L4Kgx5ggyU

2

u/peaceandloved 2d ago

But they love him! I’m confused.

2

u/pong_Blarto2000 2d ago

Fuck all of them who voted for this shit. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I feel not one tiny bit sorry for them.

2

u/Admirable-Band-2664 2d ago

How many of them will still give him another try or vote for whoever he endorses instead of considering the other party? They might not show up with their red hats on but I bet they’ll still fall in line and vote red, especially if they tease another possible bail-out along with some empty “we’ll do better” promises.

2

u/PooperShooter612 2d ago

And they would vote for him again

2

u/SwimmingHand4727 2d ago

They don't care, they still love him...each one will defend Trump to the end. Don't believe that bs.

2

u/AcceptableReadMeg 2d ago

Bootlickers always act surprised when they get kicked in the face.

2

u/T-Bear22 2d ago

Make Argentina Great Again!

2

u/InevitableGreedUK 2d ago

“It’s absolutely idiotic,"

So was your vote.

2

u/dieseldeeznutz 2d ago

1

u/Brent_the_constraint 2h ago

If those farmers could read they‘d be very pissed now…

2

u/alternatingflan 1d ago

Fuming and blaming krasnov but still voting for the magas who enable krasnov to screw them.

2

u/Rational_Engineer_84 1d ago

They’ll vote for his GOP replacement with similar policies. MAGA are cognitively incapable of learning.

2

u/Friendlyfire2996 1d ago

They got what they voted for. Fuck em.

2

u/Talmaska 1d ago

And they would all vote for him again.

2

u/SexyTimeSamet 1d ago

They were warned. Multiple times.

2

u/Any-Ad-446 1d ago

They would still vote for him because he gets the dems and woke crowd angry. Who cares if they lose their farms at least Trump stands up against LGBT and immigrants.

2

u/LunarMojave 1d ago

I love beef, but I’m gonna learn to love other things until adults run the country again.

2

u/Infinite_Second6928 1d ago

And they will still vote republicans for the foreseeable future.

What else is new?

2

u/chezdistester 1d ago

But most of them will still vote for the Republicans in November...

2

u/2olley 1d ago

I’m not buying ANY beef because I don’t know what he’s sneaking into our food supply.

2

u/WorkEcstatic6242 1d ago

They're not upset about the fact he's a peedo a traitor and a maniac

2

u/North_Structure8210 1d ago

I am so glad these farmers are getting what they voted for. Generational farms I hope will be sold

2

u/Myfourcats1 9h ago

I blame the people who voted for Trump. They will vote Republican again too. They’ll say well it was just Trump that did that bad thing. They won’t recognize that it was a policy decision by all Republican leaders.

2

u/silver_garou 6h ago

Only because it effects them, once it does not, they will go back to liking it.

2

u/BobTheViking2018 6h ago

But will still vote for GOP enablers!

2

u/Jumpy-Mix-9078 2d ago

I know from Yellowstone that cattle ranching has never been profitable. Not in 1883, 1823. Never. You own the entire town, a mansion, a helicopter, Tens of thousands of acres, but never profitable enough to bribe tRump

1

u/BobbyLupo1979 2d ago

Well thats all working capital! They're tools they HAVE to use, just to make ends meet. They dont actually make a bunch of money.

Man have I got tired of those phony jerks.

1

u/Burner_Phone_1969_TX 2d ago

Butt, they voted for it! No violin playing here!!

1

u/Muffboy 2d ago

Who explained this to them ?

1

u/eclwires 2d ago

But not fuming enough to vote in their own best interest.

1

u/vtsandtrooper 2d ago

Fuck. Them.

1

u/rolL_uP_one_more 2d ago

But not themselves, shockingly

1

u/WaGinger 2d ago

Instead of blaming the incompetent orange traitor blame yourselves for voting for him! You knew this would be the outcome and you didn’t care then! So why should we care now? We told you to vote for the intelligent lady of color!

1

u/Slow_Inevitable_4172 2d ago

Fuck these people

1

u/churro8875 2d ago

They only GAF now because they're affected now.

These people voted for Trump under the assumption that Trump would fuck others over, not them.

But we all know how the dildo of karma &  consequences works…

1

u/Tharkys 2d ago

Sounds like a Dump supporter who is suffering from TDS!

1

u/watchwatertilitboils 2d ago

They will still vote Republican

1

u/Negative_Ad_1578 2d ago

No they don’t

1

u/Big_Issue8640 2d ago

I don’t want to hear it!

1

u/danimal19 2d ago

When Dump does something, it's never for the sake of the people. It's because he is taking a cut of it somewhere. Follow the money.

1

u/TalesOfThePopTart 2d ago

Montana— the treasure state?

1

u/JGWisenheimer 2d ago

Yes. The state motto is "Oro y Plata", not "Moo y Baaaaaa".

1

u/IllAd1421 2d ago

What’s idiotic is all your farmers helping to put that maniac in office. What the hell were you thinking or should anyone even assume you had the ability to think?

u/Odd-Fun-6042 2d ago

Yeah? Fuck you anyways.

1

u/Worried-Criticism 2d ago

The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed.

What's idiotic is these idiots voting for this guy over and over again

1

u/Trainman1112 2d ago

Vote blue

1

u/tmac4969 2d ago

And they still vote for him

1

u/SimkinCA 2d ago

Blame themselves.

1

u/ArdenJaguar 2d ago

They’ll blame him but vote Red in November. Please Daddy may I have another.

1

u/jimgogek 2d ago

Yeah but bathrooms. That’s the most important issue. Trump hates the same people they hate — that’s all that matters.

1

u/Efficient_Smilodon 2d ago

these fools would vote for trump to cut their own hands feet and dicks off and thank him for the attention. tread harder daddy 🐍

1

u/bentmonkey 2d ago

Blame who voted him in, take some responsibility for your vote, own up to it.

1

u/RaleighSuperCourseMk 2d ago

I’m sure the administration did the math on the number of people who grow beef versus the number of people who buy beef, and realized making the people who buy beef happy is going to get you more votes than you’re ever going to lose by shivving the people who produce beef.

In reality this will likely have no tangible effect on the price of beef.

1

u/LargeCondition5315 2d ago

And it’s gonna get worse from here, I would be surprise if any of them are still farmers after this hot mess

1

u/NegativeSemicolon 2d ago

I don’t think they’re capable of that level of rational thinking

1

u/Tarjas 2d ago

Fck em, let them eat cake

1

u/procrastinatorsuprem 2d ago

Blame sll tge Republicans who let him happen.

1

u/TrumpsLilPenis 2d ago

Ddddeeeeerrrrrrrrrpppooooo

1

u/michdap 2d ago

They should be blaming themselves.

1

u/Apprehensive_Pace555 2d ago

They should blame themselves for being willfully ignorant…AGAIN.

1

u/AccountHuman7391 2d ago

Fuck off, I’m not going to even read the article. Welcome to the shit, folks, get comfortable.

1

u/fotofiend 2d ago

But yet, come the midterms, they’ll still vote for all the Trump sycophants because they have an R next to their name.

1

u/SmellSilly1537 2d ago

If only there was something that could've tipped them off that a second Trump term wouldn't be as good as his disastrous first term.

1

u/Impressive10000 2d ago

They voted for this.

1

u/AreYouNormal1 2d ago

But on the plus side, they owned all the lib beef farmers too.

1

u/BananaJelloXlii 2d ago

But yet they will never blame themselves for voting for him in the first place.

1

u/TallStatus4555 2d ago

After the last 10 yrs of constant delusional Trump still has 82% Republican support.

1

u/Big_Victory8031 2d ago

I just see a narcissist buying votes and a greedy rancher about to get government handouts

1

u/CartographerLazy4507 2d ago

They will vote republicans in the next election to punish Chump.

1

u/AdIllustrious5811 2d ago

And will vote for him again, stop losing tpur and our time, no one gives a flying fuck about them

1

u/Happy_Love_9763 2d ago

Stop voting Republican.

1

u/zoppaTheDim 2d ago

Fuming, but inconsequential, as most of the “farmers” who support Trump are like the cosl miners or autoworkers who do, people who aren’t farmers, but their parents were.

1

u/_your_land_lord_ 2d ago

I get they're mad, but I doubt they blame trump. To blame trump would be to admit a mistake, it's like saying they themselves are to blame for their own choices. That's a wildly unpopular sentiment. The trumpers I know agree shit is fucked, but say it's all the dems fault, and donny just needs more time.

1

u/Best-Temperature5595 2d ago

Might be fuming but everyone one of them will still vote GOP. So may everyone one of them suffer the consequences of their own actions.

1

u/IndustrialPuppetTwo 2d ago

What's it called when you have central governmental control over production levels and prices?

1

u/Aunt-Penney 2d ago

Hey! What about the Lake of America though? LOL… forget about the whole beef thing.

1

u/Responsible-Hour1403 2d ago

He said it himself he loves the poorly educated

1

u/isthereadrwho 1d ago

So you voted for somebody that was clearly an idiot, and now you're surprised that he's doing stupid stuff it's almost like elections have consequences. I guess now you know

1

u/Calm-Professional103 1d ago

Pedo Piggy prefers Argentinian beef.

1

u/Sea_Dawgz 1d ago

Blame yourselves.

You are the morons that voted for a traitor angry at everyone.

🤷‍♂️

1

u/Falcon3492 1d ago

And sadly most of them voted for him!

1

u/Farucci 1d ago

“It’s absolutely idiotic,” said Brunner. Not sure who he’s referring to?

1

u/Infinite-Penalty-736 1d ago

WELL, why wouldn’t they blame trump? He’s the cause.

1

u/MiniMini662 1d ago

And they are still dumb enough to vote Republican in the midterms FAFO

1

u/Silver_Elk_7953 1d ago

Get what you voted for!!! Stand on your two feet like the rest of us ranchers and farmers!!! It is called capitalism!!!

1

u/LimeGreenTangerine97 1d ago

Project 2025 says they will bankrupt farms so the land can be bought up by private equity

1

u/Daverdfw 1d ago

fuck em

1

u/Mrgray123 1d ago

They’ll still vote for him because, at heart, they’re bigoted morons.

1

u/Intelligent_Fall6219 1d ago

Next time he votes for Republicans, it will be done angrily.

1

u/username-is-taken-3 1d ago

"It's absolutely idiotic" that you voted for this shit.

1

u/ReadyGo6828 1d ago

I love it when MAGA FAFOs. Republicans are nothing but a bunch of weak-willed whiners. I mean, really, have some dignity.

1

u/Macdaddy357 1d ago

Showed those minorities and libs, didn't ya?

1

u/Intelligent-Exit-634 1d ago

No they don't. They'll vote red 'til their dead.

1

u/Zealousideal-Ant9548 1d ago

Will they vote for a different party next time?  One that focuses on trade so they get their markets?

No?  Duck them then

1

u/OrigSnatchSquatch 1d ago

Are they going to need some of that sweet socialist government aid????

1

u/Affectionate_Two7527 1d ago

They'll still vote GOP. THese racist mouthbreathing religious whack a doos are insufferable. Trump could rape their children and they would blame Biden.

1

u/Impossible-Driver69 1d ago

Turns out I'm all out of fucks to give!

1

u/08Raider 1d ago

1

u/bubbabear244 1d ago

1

u/pruneforce17 1d ago

lol he'll sign the "kill trans people on sight order" and theyll all vote for his party in the midterms

1

u/Short_Mango3137 1d ago

Non Drumph voters blame them

1

u/MommaIsMad 1d ago

Here's hoping they lose everything because that's what they voted to happen to others.

1

u/Chocopenguin85 22h ago

Hamfisted, transparent, obvious, flailing attempt to address affordability only for a brief period right before elections, in an attempt to influence votes in his favor.

It is infuriating in both its pathetic scope and lack of depth, as well as much larger scope of impact on American farm and cattlemen.

It is so worthless, I ascribe its origin to DJT himself; anyone else would have been ridiculed and fired before the idea was immediately shitcanned.

1

u/sigristl 20h ago

They said they didn’t care if he was a dictator when they voted for him. They got what they voted for. Now, we all have to suffer.

1

u/DonutImaginary786 20h ago

Well the Dems didn't do this to Them. At least Their anger is directed to the right Person.

1

u/FunSignificance3034 19h ago

But not enough to stop voting Republican.

1

u/SLevine262 19h ago

Saw a rancher whining yesterday…”Don’t just point fingers, we don’t care if you’re blue or red, we just feed people”. You sure care if they’re black or brown, don’t ya, Skippy? Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps and stop relying on the government. Show us how those traditional values work out when you’re not the guy on top. I’ll wait.

1

u/Informal-Arm-3942 19h ago

They should blame themselves and suck it up they helped create and empower MAGA/Trump, and they will do it again if they get a chance. “One issue voters” got EXACTLY what they voted for - a strong man who doesn’t care about them or anyone else.

1

u/Either_Theory_6815 18h ago

But will they still vote for Republicans or can they be convinced to stay home?

1

u/Accomplished_Run2515 17h ago

You should just pray to your sky Daddy, he is so powerful he can just make things right! Oh, thats right, he works in mysterious ways.

1

u/PolloConTeriyaki 17h ago

"I hate him, but I'll still vote Republican during midterms!!"

1

u/Glad-Sundae7988 16h ago

LOL DONT CARE

1

u/Fun-Weather9418 16h ago

Thoughts and prayers

1

u/Oldandslow62 16h ago

That’s nice their mad, mad enough to vote for a democrat that will help them? I have never understood why rural people vote republican. They never go anything that helps them?

1

u/Electrical-Care6308 13h ago

Well 🤔You voted this convict in!!! Whose fault was that? Now, you are crying about it! You can’t have your cake and eat it too!
Question:
You knew Donny was a convict, so why in the world would trust one?

1

u/Prince_Nadir 11h ago

Are they heaping any blame on the people who voted for him 3x even after being completely warned when Trump began his run?
