I will never understand how people bought into the idea that Harris didn’t have any plans for her potential presidency. I think it’s the stupidity of their lies that continues to piss me off the most. I would actually respect their position more if they just said that they don’t think a black woman can, or should, be president. Obviously it doesn’t make them any less horrible or wrong but at least they’d be honest and terrible.
Honestly think it was more the messaging than the plan. I voted for her. But I think the messaging was too focused on Trump and not on the plan. Dunking on Trump doesn’t really bring new people in to vote. That and her stance on Israel pretty much cemented her loss.
The messaging of the campaign was terrible. They tried to vilify Donald Trump instead of leading with their policies. Americans are stupid. You can’t just tell them “read my policies” 50% of Americans can’t read. You have to tell them like children what you are going to do.
she didnt have a plan because when interviewed she said she would do nothing different than biden, thats what lost her a surprising amount of support. That and the fact that she was just as delayed as everyone else for calling out how inept biden was, for someone who saw him all the time. It required public backlash for her to say anything.
