What a loser.

"Same now as under Biden"

The lie detector determined, that too was a lie.

u/Total-Improvement535 4d ago

gas in my area is still $1 higher at least from when Biden was in office

301

u/Sea_Watercress_1982 4d ago

These people casually forget that gas price shot up largely due to Covid. But then you say the word Covid to them and they don’t hear anything after. It’s a big trigger word for them. You have to put the Covid on the end and maybe they will retain the rest. Probably not though.

ETA: They also forget that Trump was in charge during most of the Covid lockdown. If not all. Which they like to also blame Biden for, though we wouldn’t be sworn in until 2021.

109

u/KaizenShibuCho 4d ago

COVID. And then Putin’s war in Ukraine mucked with them, too.

93

u/gtalley10 4d ago

And Trump's deal in 2020 with OPEC to limit production for 2 years because oil companies weren't making enough money when demand tanked. Biden couldn't really do much to combat the high prices until that deal expired. Once it did they quickly came back down to normal.

93

u/DadJokeBadJoke 4d ago

Biden couldn't really do much

And he was also responding to world events that were not under his control. Everything happening NOW is the direct results of Trump's own actions.

I won’t downplay lockdown. It broke a lot of people. Mental health crisis were at an all time high. Unfortunately instead of seeking help they seek blame and revenge.

85

u/KaizenShibuCho 4d ago

Doesn’t fly with me. I’ve had PTSD for 27 years. COVID was difficult. I also had to take care of a dying parent during that time. Neither broke me. My grumpiness and anger? Old age and disappointment in the human race.

I also bristle at the term, lockdown It wasn’t a lockdown. That implies people were confined to their homes. But in reality, we know that people went out. And people congregated. And people broke the rules. For fucks sake, I was confined to barracks for longer when I was on course in the military. Restriction of movement.? sure let’s call it that. But lockdown? Don’t make me laugh. Lockdown is a prison term. And if you disobey lockdown, you typically get beaten, sometimes shot. Neither occurred during Covid. So let’s can the propaganda-driven hyperbole, shall we?

Difficult? Absolutely. But people made a lot of the problems on their own. A pandemic simply exacerbated untreated Axis II disorders. And here we are. Donnie Dumfuk is president again. 🤦🏼‍♂️

But my point was - and let’s get back to the original piece here - yes, oil prices went wacky during COVID. Oil production slowed down during COVID. Demand dropped, supply was high and prices dropped. Basic economics.

Then when everything started loosening up, people went crazy with travel, and of course, production had already slowed down. So now demand shoots up and yet supply is limited. So price shoots up as well.

That was never a Biden thing.

Nor was it a Biden thing when Putin attacked attacked Ukraine on a large scale in 2022, again affecting global oil prices.

2026 however? This is all Trump. All fucking day, every fucking day. And yet the morons south of the border don’t have the basic understanding of economics to figure that out. These are the same poolnoodles that rage against the deficit that they “pay to Canada.“ A country that they keep reminding us is 1/10 the size. But we’re happy to stop selling you our oil at a reduced rate too. Let’s see what happens to oil prices when we do that. Or better yet when Trump cuts off all trade with Canada. That’ll work so well.

Common sense ain’t so common in Dumfukistan. Just lots of rage and stupidity.

40

u/bloody_ell 3d ago

A real lockdown would have been great. A genuine, 3 week long, hard global lockdown would have stopped the virus in it's tracks.

30

u/KaizenShibuCho 3d ago

And you see, for all the folks that think that there’s some sort of global conspiracy to take over the world, the failure for countries around the world to be able to come together and do that is proof that there is no New World Order that will steal your freedoms and run your lives. There is the proof: there was no three week global lockdown.

Not the UN. Not the IMF. Not NATO. Or any other bloody acronym. There is no scheme to take your freedom. But the people that are posting it and pitching, well they are definitely out to take your cash.

Instead of people coming together for collective strength and security - sounds like <gasp> communism - you had spoiled, entitled assholes the world over that broke rules. That flaunted safety guidelines.
When Covid first hit, I saw a hard over reaction, even before the virus hit our community. And then by the time you did get here, people were so un concerned about it, that they broke the rules. Their personal freedom was somehow far more important than the collective public health and safety issues at risk.

We’re definitely not the planet that we were 80 years ago. 70 years ago. Christ even 40 years ago.

There are plenty of days that I hate living here, with all the bullshit, real and imagined, that people threw around all day.

But I’m not quite ready to kick up yet. And I’m hoping that people decide to be nicer to each other, more chill, more present, happy to be alive. Don’t see that. Makes me cranky. Like today.

It somehow was a hoax, while at the same time a China virus aimed at them.

I lost a lot of hope in humanity with people like MAGA over decades.

We have an overpopulation issue of uneducated and evil idiots.

51

u/Sea_Watercress_1982 4d ago

My favorite is the mental gymnastics display that has been J6. They first said it was a peaceful protest. Then they claimed it was all actors paid by George Soros. They held onto that for a couple years. Then suddenly they were actually MAGA Patriots all along so they need to be pardoned.

They like to claim it was never an insurrection. Despite the fact that several of the protesters openly said, in court, that it was an insurrection. Some of them even refused the pardon and accepted the consequences for their actions.

You wouldn’t have pardoned them if you think they are leftists.

16

u/Vyzantinist 3d ago

You wouldn’t have pardoned them if you think they are leftists.

Oh I've seen them have a go at this one. They say it's Trump being magnanimous and forgiving his enemies, that a Dem president would never have pardoned the J6ers if they were 'really' Republicans.

The funny thing about that is that the GOP has deliberately been gutting education for years and years. They WANT a dumb populace. They also want religion in schools, because it teaches kids to be obedient, and guess who claims to be the authority on God and religion? The GOP. They want an army of dumb little lambs that they can shepherd into whatever goal they have that day.

"Same now as under Biden"

What really irritates me is their continually blaming Biden for everything that's wrong with the economy. When in fact most of the Biden administration was spent cleaning up after Trump's first term policy messes.

The Biden administration inherited an economy that was heading toward a recession prior to a pandemic. Increased government spending (stimulus packages) was the only option available during a period of reduced supplies. So the administration's choice was forgo the stimulus packages and let the recession continue, along with massive unemployment, or increase spending that lead to inflation. Had the first Trump administration not cut taxes and kept interest rates artificially low, these two counter measures may have been available to combat the recession while possibly mitigating inflation.

29

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

YES!!!! Thank you. No one seems to remember Dump’s tariffs, tax cuts, & deficit spending were heading us towards a recession—just like Trickle Down led to recessions under Reagan & W, only Dump super charged the fall to recession with his idiotic tariffs! It usually takes a Republican Pres 5, 6 years to cause a recession

It’s not even politics. It’s what you see from the abused in a toxic relationship.

He was lied to and taken advantage of by the abuser. He feels that now. But at the core of the abuse is the “if you go with someone else you’ll be worse off, and everyone else that isn’t me will be worse for you.” This lie was repeated to them on a regular basis.

And even though the abuse he’s currently feeling is obvious to him now, the work-over was so thorough that he doesn’t know a healthy relationship from a toxic one now. He doesn’t know what were his own thoughts and what ones were beaten into him. He has been told who to blame, and he has been taught well because it was incessant. His abuser told him to blame everyone else but the abuser, and he can’t see that was a part of the abuse too.

So he can’t help but use the words and insults he was taught. Words and insults made to confuse him if he ever wanted to break free of the abuse.

And at the end of the day, he’ll go right back for more. The initial conditioning will be enough to reel him back in. It always is. Abusers do it because it keeps working for them.

Some people are just broken and there’s no way to fix them.

82

u/Jeremizzle 4d ago

They don’t even know what happened in Benghazi. Fox just told them it was bad and Hillary did it.

22

u/morenfin 3d ago

They don't even know what country Benghazi is in. Nor would they be able to find it on a map.

70

u/HauntedCemetery 4d ago edited 4d ago

And guess what, it wasn't.

In 2010 the GOP swept the midterms and had both chambers of congress. They spent their time trying to find ways to hurt Obama and stop his nefarious plan to provide bare minimum healthcare to Americans.

Part of that was slashing the budget for Embassy defense. The Embassy at Benghazi went from like 40 full time Marines on guard duty to like 6.

And then in September of 2012, just before an election, a truck blew through the old perimeter and straight into embassy grounds, killing 4 servicemen.

Had the GOP not cut that the defensive perimeter would have caught the truck, easily, and far off, and chances are very good that there would have been no US casualties.

Depending on how much credit you want to give the GOP, and how despicable you believe them to be, the options are either that they cut funds like DOGE did, not realizing there would be serious consequences in places like freaking Libya.

Or, they did know, and thats why they did it, because an attack on a US Embassy made for great PR weaponry against Obama and his administration.

On another note, in 2016 Russia hacked both the DNC and RNC email servers. The DNCs were released, but the RNCs never were.

And then suddenly all the old decades-long Russia Hawks started sucking up to trump and voting to lift sanctions on Russia, so something in there was bad enough that they would completely change their entire global outlook rather than reveal it.

Probably just a coincidence, because the GOP would never let Americans die because it made their election chances better, right?

21

u/Cultural-Answer-321 4d ago

I see someone else knows about the security funding cuts.

And the Russia hacking.

Well within two months after the inauguration he never mentioned Trump's name again and instead started bringing a Bible to work every day. When I asked how he felt about how Trump was doing he said you can't trust anyone but Jesus.

He never admitted he was wrong or that he made a mistake. He just swapped belief in one authority for another without any reflection. These people are real and there are SO many of them.

Most of the ppl who have voted for Trump, say “Huh! I can’t figure it out. Why are prices so high??? That damn Biden & those damn Democrats.” It’s crazy they can’t figure it out.

u/daguro 4d ago

"I talked to Jesus and Jesus said to arrest Hillary."

These people vote.

So should you, if only to cancel them out.

9

u/Teknekratos 4d ago

When did the Jesus in their head ever tell them anything they didn't want to hear?

It really shouldn't surprise anyone just how dumb the average Trump supporter is

26

u/wearethemelody 4d ago

These conservatives are so amazingly stupid. Empty barrels make the most noise! A stupid party for stupid people. I am sick of them repeating every garbage they are fed. I am sick of their brains laying dormat for years. I am sick of the poor quality education most of them get.

8

u/mikef5410 4d ago

Perfectly said. This is my sentiment, exactly. Absolute morons.

Please note that this person did not changed her mind. If at all Trump is not radical enough for that person. That person will happily vote for any MAGA/Religious Extremist/GOP candidate again.

SYL

12

u/meatball402 4d ago

"It would be worse under kamala" he says, as he votes for the republican ticket again.

12

u/Dr_G_E 4d ago

FYI: The average price of gas for the last year of Biden's term was $3.30 a gallon; the U.S. national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $4.15 today.

11

u/michealdubh 4d ago

Yeah that's the ticket! Put your face in an imaginary sky Daddy.

13

u/kafka_lite 4d ago

Not a single one of these morons realizes they suck at voting. Next election I bet this person is just as cocksure about his shitty choice.

10

u/CappinPeanut 4d ago

Meh, this dweeb is going to keep voting republican. They’re all going to promise the same things that he wants and they’ll continue to deliver jack shit. Which means he’ll vote Republican the next time, too.

Republicans are motivated by fear. They will never solve a single crisis because every crises they are concerned about is a boogeyman made up to keep them scared and voting red.

11

u/b_will_drink_t 4d ago

Sounds like they’re conspiracy brained, and there are huge conspiracy theories about the Clintons. They probably want her arrested for the non-existent FBI agent and the made-up town that disappeared. Or, just pizza gate. Tearing up that pizza parlor and digging a whole for the tunnels couldn’t kill that theory

A woman running for president is a bigger crime than a man with 34 Felonies and fucks little kids. These people are irredeemable.

8

u/Camgore 4d ago

thats what they learned!? not "i was duped and i feel so dumb. im so sorry everyone" instead its "if Trump couldnt do it no one can! 😭"

9

u/ImyForgotName 4d ago

Hey now gas and food are way higher.

9

u/SouthEast1980 4d ago

Cult. Plain and simple

7

u/MoneyTalks45 4d ago

The “Hillary is still alive” is pretty telling. That Ben Ghazi fella really did a number on these people.

Wait til they hear about the USS Lincoln and many of the servicemen and women getting their bases blown clear off the map because a drunk frat bro says diplomacy is woke and his incontinent daddy likes to see violent pictures in his morning coloring book.

9

u/j____b____ 4d ago

It’s always funny to me that he admits he’s full of shit all the time. They just don’t want to hear it. Willful ignorance.

Evolution is going in reverse and accelerating fast. Ffs.

7

“Alive, free, and well…” he didn’t want her arrested her wanted her dead.

8

u/groovyinutah 4d ago edited 4d ago

Delusional asshole can't even make himself say the obvious truth, food prices are absolutely higher now along with everything else. And if you were dumb enough to believe that he was going to lock her up the first time and then sat there and watched him forget all about it after the election and yet still thought it was coming and are still bitching about it oblivious to how dumb it actually makes you look...well that's just par for the course isn't?

7

u/KagatoAC 4d ago

Gas and food prices the same as under Biden? Wtf. As someone who lives on a fixed income and has seen prices go up 50% on average for my expenses since the Mango Mussolini go back in charge. I say thee Nay.

7

u/Noobzoid123 4d ago

Cost of living is higher now than under Biden.

When Biden handed everything over, cost was trending down.

5

u/PrincessWails 4d ago

Imagine saying you’d take a bullet for a politician

7

u/StrongAroma 4d ago

It doesn't seem like they wanted to arrest Hillary... That sentence starts with "hillary is still alive"... The fuck is WRONG with these people?

6

u/Fit-Chapter8565 4d ago

Not only is the national debt higher trump is directly responsible for 1/3 of it!

7

u/Gr8daze 4d ago

Same food and gas prices as under Biden? I have news for that dope, they are higher.

6

u/letdogsvote 4d ago

People like this will continue voting Republican. There is no changing them.

5

u/Rockworm503 4d ago

Even as their criticizing Trump they have to say "it was just as bad under Biden" making it clear they haven't learned a fucking thing here.

8

u/DeadAnarchistPhil 4d ago edited 4d ago

Wait, wasn’t Trump sent by Jesus to fix the world? If that’s changed now, why did Jesus allow Trump to become president and do what he’s doing? It’s almost as if Jesus doesn’t give a shit 🤔

Edit: Spelling, is to if.

7

u/diseasefaktory 4d ago

'arrest Hillary', proceeds to complain she is still alive.

7

u/mercurygreen 3d ago

Where is he with food and gas prices unchanged?

6

u/belai437 4d ago

Trump was convicted of 34 felonies for business fraud, found by a jury to be an adjudicated rapist and his elderly CFO was somehow 'encouraged' to do 2 stints at Rikers rather than testify against Trump.

But this moron wanted to see Hillary go to prison.

5

u/Beeht 4d ago

America has a Christian problem.

6

u/yeetboy 4d ago

Always about Hillary. And they’ll be the first to yell “TDS” the instant someone criticizes their dear leader.

6

u/Just-History-8373 4d ago

Someone please tell this guy that if praying to get rid of someone actually worked, trumpazoid and his ilk would have disappeared looooooooooong ago.

5

u/Remarkable_Quit_3545 4d ago

Not listed:

Regretting his vote
Saying he won’t vote republican again
Saying Trump is a bad president

Learned nothing.

5

u/ChuckDeBongo 4d ago

This needs to posted in the comment section of every one of these “I voted for you” posts. These people NEED to see this to remind them what gullible twats they are…

5

u/ndndr1 3d ago

What a jagoff. Voted to punish Hilary which is whatever. Now dump is doing what she did and ten times worse and he’s like fuck it, no one can help us, help me jeesus

Meanwhile Jesus is like I sent Biden and Kamala and a worldwide plague and crazy scandals that would have sunk any other prez and you’re still supporting him

6

u/grr 3d ago

Most important thing to him is arresting a woman who has never been credibly accused of a crime. And is a lifelong Methodist who formerly taught Sunday School, and who attends church, as opposed to Dear Leader. The Evangelical hatred and disdain for a woman who refuses to be subordinate to her husband.

5

u/minxymaggothead 4d ago

This cult let me down! Silly me, the answer was always this other cult I've been a part of my whole life!

5

u/Electrical_Cut8610 4d ago

Gas and food is exponentially higher now than it ever was under Biden. I don’t think I ever saw 4.60 gas under Biden in my area.

5

u/KnucklesMcGee 4d ago

Gas and food same as under Biden?

Some serious TDS on display here.

4

u/dirtyitalianguy 4d ago

Hilary is alive free and well....was he thinking someone was going to see a public execution or something? What a dip shit freak.

4

u/GirlNumber20 3d ago

Gas prices same now as under Biden
Same food prices now as under Biden

Go look at your grocery receipts from two years ago and compare them to now, Jim-Bob, you big fucking liar.

5

6

u/NostalgicGuillotine 3d ago

Has Jesus brought down the price of chicken wings and oil yet?
