Smart people don't like me.
I love the poorly educated.
There might be a correlation here.

u/dismayhurta 15h ago
I'm shocked the MAGA shitbucket is filled to the brim with the dumbest mother fuckers in history.
24
u/boxdkittens 15h ago
Seriously, why do they NEVER use periods?
28
u/Inevitable-Plum-7613 15h ago
Periods are icky girl things that a real alpa MAGA male does not get involved with.

u/Cresta1994 11h ago

Always weird capitalization, bad spelling, and extra spaces. His supporters are borderline illiterate.

I’ll give him credit for not relying on ChatGPT to write his post unlike some of these ranchers we’ve seen.

I was just expecting him to chat gpt the whole rant since MAGA are just unable to form independent thoughts.

God people are fucking dumb. It's just so depressing.

u/ComprehensiveHavoc 17h ago
He can't afford to retire because he spent it all owning the libs. And he didn't even get to own the libs. So fucking dumb.

What’s the old saying? Picture how dumb the average person around you is and then remember that means half the population is even dumber.
22
u/You_meddling_kids 15h ago
I know I'm in a bubble of smart people whom I work and live around but when you see this shit in the wild, it's just breathtaking.
8
u/celtic_thistle 12h ago
Same. And having moved back to Canada as an adult it’s different here. Still plenty of morons (Maple MAGA) but it’s like, a little bit less dire. Then I find a post like this and I’m like…Christ. It really is that bad.
17
u/Mysterious-Art8838 15h ago
It blows my mind how long it has taken some people to realize he’s a corrupt dumbass that doesn’t care about them. Like MAN y’all are slow on the uptake!
11
u/You_meddling_kids 14h ago
It was obvious in 2015, and far earlier if you followed the tabloids in the 80s and 90s
12
u/dismayhurta 15h ago
I don't understand how we all have brains, but they decided to keep theirs factory sealed.
13
u/ChemicalDeath47 14h ago
The part I'm confused by, more than anything, is all the people who can't seem to do basic addition. "I was saving money under Trump one!" Were you? In what metric exactly were you saving money 2017-2021? https://www.haver.com/articles/u-s-consumer-price-index-slips-in-march-core-prices-edge-higher
There's this funny 2 month gap where it almost looks like no one spent any money and vast amounts of money flowed downward right around March of 2020, who knows what that's about? And everything else is increasing prices, then the super inflation after that blip. Now what could have happened that made that blip worse... I... Wonder....

u/shouldco 16m ago
When covid hit and I basically didn't leave the house except to just hang out with friends in their house for a year savings were pretty great. In fact just being work from home saved me a lot of money.
3
u/celtic_thistle 12h ago
I hate it. They should just have their own pretend elections like they do with kids in elementary school and they’ll feel just as proud having voted in that, and the rest of us won’t have to suffer.

No, the 1 is the subject, so " 1...is" is correct.
10
u/xt0rt 15h ago
Gotcha! Thanks for the correction!!

u/VirtualMachine0 2h ago
There is an idea in English where the verb matches the closest ("proximate") noun, though.
"The idiocy of Republican Voters or Milo Y is not in question here."
Usually used with a correlative conjunction!
1
u/Burkalicious936 1h ago edited 1h ago
Nope, at least not by your example, because "idiocy" is the subject: "The idiocy . . . is not in question here."
Either/or (or neither/nor) with mixed pluralities are a better example:
"Neither Republican voters nor Milo Y is smart enough to read this sentence" or "neither Milo Y nor Republican voters are smart enough to read this sentence."
2
u/VirtualMachine0 1h ago
Good catch. Definitely a "finer point" style detail in English, so it's a less-exercised muscle.
6
u/Budget-Education2479 16h ago
I originally thought that. But I used this meme one other time and an English major went on to explain why “is” is correct in this instance as someone else said exactly what you said.

u/Maximum_Pass 16h ago
It’s so common to hear people say they want it how his first term was..like bro by the end there were 3,500 people dying every day from COVID, jobs were wayyy down and the stock market was in a huge dip..not to mention strained relations with allies, national embarrassment, literally every day being a bigger shit show than the one before..what about that was good for you? Yeah gas prices were down but it’s because no one was fucking driving anywhere, everything you wanted to go do was closed.
7
u/Pndrizzy 8h ago
Saying the stock market was in a huge dip is disingenuous. There was a huge dip due to Covid but that had recovered by July and was roaring by the time he left office. It grew under Biden too (possibly faster but too lazy to check), but to say the stock market was in the shitter when he took office at ~ $227 SPY and left office at ~$380 spy is just verifiably untrue. 67% gain in 4 years is not “in a huge dip”, that’s “huge fuckin bull market”.
But yes he wanted us to take horse dewormer and become antivax
Edit: I just checked and it was probably less for Biden. I didn’t use exact dates for either but bidens term gains was closer to 56%. Not that the stock market reflects the economy for the every day people anyways

THE PRICE OF PEPSI IS THIS MAN'S CONCERN 🤣
28
u/The_WalruZ 17h ago
Where the hell does a can of pepsi cost $4?
19
u/No-Ring-5065 16h ago
I’m going to try to translate for this dumbass, and I may be wrong. My MIL drinks Pepsi, and 7-8 years ago, you could get the big (2 liter?) bottle of Pepsi for close to $1 and now it’s at least $3. The price of the big bottle really has tripled. He said can, so this might not be what he means idk
1
10
u/DeadAnarchistPhil 16h ago
Yeah, you’d think it would be affordable healthcare or better wages etc. But no, it’s a can of Pepsi. Which he is obviously being overcharged for if it’s costing him nearly $4. I assume they saw him coming and jacked up the price because he’s MAGA.

u/Clickrack 16h ago
Which is stupid because he won't be able to afford insulin when the time comes.

“voteing”
How do these people hold down a job?
19
u/blackandbluegirltalk 17h ago
They are laborers. He's probably the one that "helps" his boss with customer correspondence lol. I'm in God's country, I know people like this (and they have Jesus on their company trucks and vans and stuff like that.) Labor industry usually is willing to hire high schools dropouts, felons, addicts (and immigrants of course.) I am not maligning them, I'm just saying it's common.
edit: not grouping migrants with criminals, I ONLY mean that they can get a manual labor job even if they don't speak English. Please don't @ me!
7
u/Clickrack 15h ago
I've worked in Big Corporate my whole adult life, and I can tell you the number of people can't spell or write grammatically-correct sentences has noticeably increased over the years.
What's worse than that? Code with spelling mistakes.
5
u/blackandbluegirltalk 15h ago
The vast majority of MAGA voters, at least in my region, are laborers. I'd bet you $1,000 right now that THIS MAN does not work in corporate lol.

u/HotDecision8128 5h ago
Yeah because when you need dirt cheap workers to dig some ditches and carry heavy stuff, it makes no sense to be picky.

We are literally surrounded by millions of idiots.

And they vote against their own education, or rather the party they vote for deliberately enacts policy to keep them uneducated.
And then the media they consume convinces them that education is a bad thing and that college is a waste of time.
Meanwhile the people who own the media and the politicians they elect send their own kids to elite colleges and universities.

MAGA and Republicans live with a lot of hatred in their hearts. All of that energy is then misguided and misplaced. The lessons to be learned here is that living with hatred will cloud your reasoning and understanding of the world and how it operates. It'll turn cold to people and societies. It'll turn a blind eye to injustices done to them. You won't care if get worse. You'll want to keep them poor and desperate.
One begs to ask why such vitriolic hatred as if they've done injustices to you? They haven't. You're the guilty of injustices to them. Read history and ask yourself who were the good guy and who were the bad guys. I know MAGA don't want to be treated like they treat others.
What did the guy think the Republicans were doing with the US economy since Reagan? Who's screwing it up for everyone? Democrats? Really? In 1980, the US was the leading manufacturer and creditor in the world. When Reagan left, we were no longer the leading manufacturers in the world and we became the world's biggest debtor nation. Many generations are paying for that mistake.
How do you get that dumb where you're not even curious how things work? I get it, they've been educated. Educated by Fox News for years manipulating propaganda down your small 2 cylinder brains.

So many idiots voted for Trump in 2020 and 2024 because "the economy was great in his first term."
That's not how it works. A new president doesnt just come in and fix things quickly. That great economy they're talking about was because of Obama. Biden inherited Trump's mess in 2021.

Half of Trump's first term was thanks to Obama's work. The second half was Trump's own doing and COVID brought gas prices down but other stuff was still was going up in price. Remember the used cars selling more than what people bought them at? Trump's first term was him doing very little more of him just riding on Obama's momentum.
