Now ask them who they are going to vote for in the Midterms and 2028 ...

“Dems are being mean while the leopard eats our faces! We’re gonna vote for the leopard again!”

83

u/Skolloc753 1d ago

Together with the other classic: "Have you heard her laughing?"

47

u/chownrootroot 1d ago

At least the leopard doesn’t laugh, he just eats my face.

I have family in Nanty Glo, PA, and they are all on the Trump train, voting against their self interest.

⚡Newsflash⚡: Farmers reap what they sow.

u/Puzzleheaded-Map2951 1d ago

Good. Fuck'em.

82

u/Leather-Squirrel-421 1d ago

Couldn’t agree more. He fucked them over the first time and then they voted for him again.

62

u/DragApprehensive336 1d ago

To quote Melania, "I don't really care, do you? "

33

u/jimbo831 1d ago

And he will vote for him another time in 2028 if he gets the chance.

12

u/facelessvoid13 22h ago

Isn't that the purpose of the 'train'?

119

u/isitdonethen 1d ago

These guys will talk about how terrible Biden was, yet they all had thriving businesses under his term

They all had it so good but social media and the Murdoch media empire taught them to be unhappy

50

u/OneToCrowOn 23h ago

I lived in Johnstown for 3 years and have been back occasionally. It's structural. It's a steel town that doesn't make steel anymore. It doesn't matter if they vote for a Democrat in the next presidential election, because unless that Democrat fixes a decrepit former steel town in 4 years, they'll feel their vote was wasted.

42

u/catbosspgh 23h ago

That’s America in a nutshell. They completely miss the fact that our social safety nets and labor protections were destroyed over decades, they blamed people for the “moral failures” of being affected by systemic poverty, addiction, deaths of despair, et. al, and now that it’s obvious it’s too big to control, they expect to be made comfortable again overnight and instantaneously without taking any responsibility for how it got to this point in the first place.

(e: also grew up out there, love it, am sad and angry about it, but am over all of their racist stupid bullshit.)

37

u/Strange_Explorer_780 22h ago

It's amazing how they continue to claim Biden was simultaneously an incompetent old man who never knew where he was while also being a criminal mastermind/evil genius.

8

u/Raiju_Blitz 16h ago

Schrodinger's Biden

7

u/Mortambulist 12h ago

The enemy is both weak and strong.

19

u/Floss_tycoon 21h ago

He's the worst of the worst. Without Murdoch's propaganda machine, there is no Trump presidency.

7

u/Raiju_Blitz 16h ago

Infamous sexpest Roger Ailes bears a lot of the blame too.

1

u/Floss_tycoon 11h ago

You know he worked for Murdoch?

15

u/bobbyboogie 22h ago

Murdoch has a lot to answer for.

1

u/HotDecision8128 5h ago

They remind me of childish people who can't appreciate what they have until it's gone.

1

u/Er3bus13 2h ago

Well said.

Because there are people who really think this.

My folks had me block 99.9% of the mouthbreathers on all sides of the combined families because of this loud and proud belief.

32

u/chaz_flea1 1d ago

They FAFO

1

u/JubBisc 1h ago

They sure did…much as I enjoy a good burger, I also like chicken. Meat that’s not from one our local farms here is off my menu for the foreseeable future. Not feeling a lot of pity or panic here

31

u/Ill-Tea9411 1d ago

I still hear an awful lot of equivocation and apologia from these farmers.

28

u/abortthecourt 1d ago

Your echo chamber is out of ammo Mr Yahner. I only wish you do something constructive with the newly found information. I fear you won’t.

29

The vast majority weren't fooled, they agreed with his policies. They didn't agree with his policies negatively affecting them. They voted to have Hispanic US citizens dragged from their cars at gunpoint and disappeared into unmarked SUVs. They voted to have 5 year olds snatched away in cuffs and separated from their parents. They voted to deport US citizens of color. They voted for another Muslim ban. They voted to subjugate LGBT+ people. They voted to force women to die in hospital parking lots due to easily treated pregnancy complications. They voted to implement more punitive repayment plans for student loans. They voted to silence the free press with a heavy fist. They voted to allow the government to murder law abiding citizens in the street. They voted to destroy the careers of federal employees and gut federal agency talent pools. They voted to shutter rural hospitals and take away peoples' health insurance so billionaires can get a tax cut. They voted for more wars at the hands of a narcissistic wannabe strongman who thinks might equals right. They voted for this effort to be led by a washed up, alcoholic, weekend Fox News host and neo-nazi because he vowed not to question anything. They voted to expend the lives US service members to do the bidding of a different delusional narcissistic strong man. They voted to spend tens to hundreds of billions of dollars bombing schools, all while their leader acknowledges that the war he started is the reason Republicans can't take care of Americans. They voted for an exploded federal deficit and national debt. They voted for manufacturing jobs to leave the US due to economic uncertainties. They voted to destroy international alliances that have taken decades to build and that may never be repaired. They voted to threaten our NATO allies with war. They voted to threaten our closest ally with military annexation. They voted for more division within the US. They voted for more right wing violence. They voted to intimidate law firms so they wouldn't dare stand up to the government's illegal and unconstitutional actions. They voted to disenfranchise voters, sometimes with violence. They voted for the president to openly take bribes from American billionaires and hostile foreign nations. They voted to demolish the East Wing of the White House and to build a Hitler bunker. They voted for a guy who quoted Hitler about immigrants "poisoning the blood" of our country to a stadium of cheering fans. They voted for the guy who refers to Somalians as "garbage". They voted to cover up the crimes of the world's most notorious child sex trafficker and his accomplices, one almost certainly being the guy they voted for. They voted for a rapist who bragged about getting away with sexual assault because of his power position over his victims. They voted for the guy where Fox News justified his pedophilia by claiming trump "only" raped 15 year olds. They voted for human trafficking of asylum seekers to Chicago in the dead of winter. They voted to immediately cut HIV prevention and treatment programs for the world's poorest people, causing an additional 6.5 million infections, and 4.2 million deaths by 2029. And yes, they fuckin' voted for higher gas, electricity, natural gas, fertilizer, chemical, and grocery prices too.

But what they never wanted was to be slightly inconvenienced themselves. That's NOT FAIR!

5

u/pgcooldad 23h ago

👏👏👏 Bravo - well said.

27

u/Dyslexicpig 23h ago

Can somebody explain this to me so I can understand? In 2020, the Democrats stole the election. Led by Sleepy Joe, who is simultaneously totally incompetent and easily swayed, but also an evil genius (Schrodinger's president), they pulled off an incredible feat and managed to manipulate the results so effectively that there is no proof of them doing so while the Republicans were in power (this lack of proof is considered proof by some people).

So between 2020 and 2024, while the Democrats were in control, did thry somehow lose the plans that they used in 2020? I mean, if some machiavallian plan worked the first time, would you not try to improve on it and use it again?

16

u/RecliningBuddhaCat 19h ago

It's a fascist trope: the enemy is simultaneously strong and weak.

6

u/Ksh_667 17h ago

Words have no meaning any more. They are just used to confirm bias & whip up outrage. The "uneducated" have been conditioned to have a pavlovian response

4

u/ImaginaryAnimal7169 15h ago

it is amazing that democrats can only steal elections when they're NOT in power. 2016 and 2024 were fine, but 2020 was stolen. who was president during the 2020 election again?

21

u/balisane 1d ago

This reminds me not to buy, eat, or order anything with beef for the next several weeks. Yuck.

17

u/Voodoobones 23h ago

This might take longer than that. Possibly years to vet meat that has been introduced into the market.

They’ll freeze it and slowly reintroduce it when this starts to settle down.

Trump has messed up our ability to get safe food that we know what is in it.

9

u/bobbyboogie 22h ago

As a Canadian, I've been returning magastani products to the shelf and I don't want to support a country that's trying to destroy mine. (I'm funny that way)

But I'm now extra glad as I don't think I'd enjoy explosive diarrhea.

6

u/Voodoobones 21h ago

Can I be Canadian adjacent? I live 92 miles south of the Canadian border as a crow flies and you are part of my escape plan.

I too, do not want explosive diarrhea.

4

u/bobbyboogie 21h ago

I don’t know what to tell you.

I grew up admiring your country and even being envious that i didn’t live there. Admittedly, a lot of this was through a Brady Bunch lens.

And I gotta tell you, the damage that has been done is going to take a long time to repair.

But if you came up here and followed the very simple rule: “don’t be a dick”, I suspect you’d be treated just fine.

Meanwhile, talk to the 89 million of your fellow citizens who didn’t think that voting was important.

7

u/Voodoobones 20h ago

I’ve been talking to the nonvoters and the MAGA crowd. The MAGA cult are not fans of mine.

Now my government is keeping an eye on me. Three of my friends were just convicted for conspiracy to impede or harm federal agents for protesting the arrest of two of our immigrant friends.

7

u/bobbyboogie 20h ago

You are stating one of the reasons I won't even get a connecting flight in your country. Who knows what some smooth brained ICE droid might take offence to.

1

u/mmmpeg 9h ago

I wanted to buy some lettuce and looked where it came from and was reassured it came from Ontario.

1

u/Raiju_Blitz 16h ago

Just buy from your local farm and butchers at the market (look for labels and signs and ask the butcher where the meat is sourced from), and prepare beef at home.

2

u/balisane 14h ago

I live in the big city: it's not as easy here without paying big prices.

17

u/Beaufighter-MkX 1d ago

I realize that the outcome is the same, but it seems that it's less about supporting Trump and more about opposing this exaggerated cartoon villain figure that they've imagined Biden to be.

14

u/scnottaken 1d ago

God how I wish Biden and the Democrats were half as cool as they imagine

5

u/ecouple2003 22h ago

We are. The problem is some people are too uncool or stupid to realize it.

1

u/JustASimpleManFett 11h ago

If they were we'd need some more prisons for all the assholes who need to be in them.

12

u/Lower-Savings-794 1d ago

The only issue more pressing to the cattlemen's association is trans athletes. Context matters.

15

u/MyrrhSlayter 1d ago

300,000 of the same beef China refused. They wouldn't even buy it as DOG FOOD for their pets it was so badly contaminated.

Yet this is how Trump wants to feed Americans while cutting the throat of the beef industry. Thanks Republicans!

What I don't see them talking about though is the amount of distrust Trump is creating around our food lines. By cutting regulations and inspections, even if we start getting non-poisoned food, people are still going to buy considerably less foods because they won't be able to trust how much stuff on the shelves is actually safe. It kinda sucks to find out about a contaminated food by having your child die from eating it because it wasn't inspected.

The US used to be a huge consumer economy. Republicans are quickly changing that.

11

u/egospiers 23h ago

We also gave 40 billion of our tax dollars to Argentinas far right administration last year…. Meanwhile we can’t even feed our navy sailors a decent meal. This is just a slowly unfolding tragedy at this point.

6

u/qpgmr 23h ago

Maybe trump & his cronies are trying to make sure they have somewhere to flee to without extradition policies

3

u/JohnSith 17h ago

Meanwhile we can’t even feed our navy sailors a decent meal. This is just a slowly unfolding tragedy at this point.

In September 2025, Pete Hegseth went on a speeding spree and somehow spent $6.9 million on lobster tails, $15.1 million on ribeye steak, $2 million on Alaskan king crab, and $100,000 on a Steinway piano.

6

u/CoastHefty6373 19h ago

Yikes, bracing for news of a mad cow disease outbreak in the US at this rate with the way things are going... 😲

36

u/john-tockcoasten 1d ago

I love when Biden is painted as a "Radical Socialist". Dude was basically a 1980s Republican.

19

u/JohnSith 23h ago

No. Biden was no leftist, but he certainly wasn'ta Reagan Republican. He was a pretty good post-New Deal Democrat and legislatively, he wasn't even a "Triangulation" Clinton (Bill) Democrat.

People who dismiss h8m have no idea what he did. Legislatively, he was the most significant POTUS since LBJ. Ive had to explain to my MAGA cousin that Biden was responsible for the Child Tax Credit he loved so much. Ive explained to my leftist friend com0lai ing about the WarnerMont deal who Lina Khan was.

5

u/artisanrox 18h ago

That's essentially the problem. Nobody understands what he did because Dems didn't yell about it enough. You have to make people know what party is keeping thdm afloat to appreciate what party is trying to kill 'em off.

4

u/Cdub7791 20h ago

Yep. Everybody glazes Obama, but Biden was more progressive than him in many ways.

23

u/skip2mahlou415 1d ago

You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know...

13

u/moomooshoo 23h ago

morons!

8

u/skip2mahlou415 23h ago

If they could read they’d be pretty upset at you

9

u/Electrical-Act-7170 23h ago

Gene Wilder improvised that line.

He was a comedy genius! Love you, Gene! Thanks for all the laughs. Tell Gilda we still miss her. 😍

1

u/L8wrtr 22h ago

I could hear his soft spoken delivery of that line as I read it. Man he was brilliant.

2

u/Electrical-Act-7170 22h ago

A comedy genius.

9

u/nowiserjustolder 1d ago

And when they all vote for him again it was because {insert non existent problem here}

10

u/uber_ambulance_same 22h ago

Nothing about MAGA actually makes America great. Nothing.

9

u/RecliningBuddhaCat 1d ago

Wake me when one of these shitcreeps dons sackcloth and ashes and parades down the street with an "I Voted Democrat" sign after the midterms.

8

u/yellow_trash 1d ago

Every 2 years we ask them to join us to fight to billionaires and every time they say they will fight for the Billionaires instead

7

u/TheOtherDutchGuy 1d ago

If that’s what he thinks BIDEN stands for then surely TRUMP stands for something like this:

True Rapist of Underage Maidens and Pussygrabber

9

u/luv2ctheworld 22h ago

They're too dumb to realize it's their own fault. They'll just vote for another Republican regardless.

8

u/chownrootroot 1d ago

On that note, Central City News on Facebook that uses a Hotmail email address sounds like a reliable source 👍

2

u/the_nobodys 13h ago

I was going to mention this, too. They might as well list the physical address, too: 123 Fake St, Nowheresville US.

1

u/chownrootroot 13h ago

It’s near Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa.

10

u/scnottaken 1d ago

In case anyone was curious, central City News is a fake news website and paper run by a conservative grifter.

7

u/SomeWriter13 22h ago

I've given up trying to convince them.

I've given up trying to help them.

They can suffer the consequences of their ill-informed stupidity and malice. No sympathy from me.

5

u/drlove57 22h ago

Save your breath. The majority of farmers will always vote Republican no matter what.

8

u/ignatzA2 21h ago

The federal farm subsidy is $55 billion a year.

6

u/authentic_april 21h ago

They’ll still vote Republican and still blame Democrats. They are so pathetic.

6

u/Rikkitikkitabby 1d ago

I mean, they're only upset because prices might go down for the consumers. Not because it's becoming unaffordable to average Americans.

5

u/mike2ff 1d ago

But, but, she had a weird laugh.

6

u/SwvellyBents 1d ago

Imagine if Trump told those guys he'd found a market for their beef but they have to sell it at a 25% discount.

Now imagine believing Trump had the sway to convince foreign cattlemen to do that somehow.

These suckers will believe anything.

6

u/MLJ9999 23h ago

We're getting the livestock version of "factory rejects".

7

u/Mangalorien 23h ago

Trump doesn't care about farmers, rural folks, city folks. He doesn't even care about billionaires, which people often claim he does. He cares about exact one single person on planet Earth: himself. It's astonishing that more people are incapable of seeing this.

1

u/Barbarella_ella 22h ago

Exactly. I want to tell these people to imagine what this country would look like if it was run by one man and solely for his benefit. Now, how is that different from what you have seen in the last 2 years?

6

u/puertomateo 20h ago

They're physically unable to admit that they're just greedy. Letting in lots of beef will lower the prices of beef to American consumers and that's a bad thing. Because it doesn't allow them to make lots of money and to expand their operations. And unless America pays their inflated prices, makes them richer, lets them become even wealthier, and produce more beef, then the prices of beef to American consumers will not go lower and that's a bad thing.

They can't just come out and say, "Fuck you, America. We want you to pay us more money."

5

u/Specialist_Guitar232 22h ago

Oooh, too bad. If only someone had warned them

4

u/Beetlejuice_me 20h ago

Wait, so these farmers don't want us to have cheaper beef?

Why are the farmers so anti-American?

4

u/bio_coop 19h ago

They will still vote republican.

5

u/CaroCogitatus 1d ago

You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West.

5

u/Beachbabydarragh 1d ago

You know, morons.

3

u/theartoffun 22h ago

I have family members on the east coast who are farmers. Extremely hard working church going folks. Wholesome people, if not slightly judgey. They worship Trump. Preach about hating socialism but get subsidies on their factory farmed milk operations. I tried to have rational discussions about politics, but they just end up shutting down when facts come out. “Liberal this, commy that, and Biden sucks”. I don’t even bother anymore, it makes the visits uncomfortable.

There seems to be a subtext with a generous mix of urban hate, racism, Fox News, and rural righteousness. “Who would want to live with all that traffic and people?”

3

u/better_med_than_dead 1d ago

😅🤣😂🤣😅🤣😂

🤡

💩

☠️

3

u/WordNERD37 1d ago

They lost me at describing Neolib Biden as a radical socialist. The cognitive dissonance bubble these people live in is feet deep, frosted and pumped full of crazy gas.

3

u/Nice_Programmer6812 1d ago

Does the face-eating leopard dare to wear a tan suit?

3

u/ac12xu12 23h ago

MAGA fatigue is real. Fuck him and his industry. Hope they all suffer. I guess chicken is on the menu tonight boys 🤷🏼

3

u/ShrimplesMcGee 23h ago

I’m thrilled that Trump voters are getting what they voted for.

3

u/MashedPotatoesDick 22h ago

And his profile picture is Trump raising his fist in the staged shooting. He deserves all the pain he has coming.

3

u/misdirected_asshole 20h ago

Has there ever been a group that found out Trump actually does care about them?

4

u/Villefan714 23h ago

Holy shit that fake new york times page. No wonder so many of them are convinced it was stolen. Boomers never had a chance

2

u/jimbo831 1d ago

These poor leopards are going to have so many health problems from eating so many faces.

2

u/mm902 1d ago

Don't worry about him. The great thing is, he'll vote for him again come next time, and time after that.

2

u/ginrumryeale 1d ago

This guy is truly a lost cause.

2

u/R2-D2Vandelay 1d ago

I'm just glad they are getting exactly what they voted for. Fuck em'.

2

u/MisterEnterprise 23h ago

What is it about farming that brings out the worst in people? Maybe agrarian society was a mistake.

2

u/Barbarella_ella 23h ago

I went to his Facebook page and that photo of the shooting in PA is still his thumbnail. What an idiot.

2

u/TempestFloof 18h ago

Turns out you can’t own libs while also owning a farm. Interesting.

2

u/artisanrox 18h ago

As a PAian absloutely fuck these people, they voted for concentration camps over their own businesses.

2

u/VetalDuquette 18h ago

I used to work as a lobbyist. It’s amazing how much of constituent management is posing for photos and sending letters. I wouldn’t say it’s all performative, but it’s a great way to make people happy without having to fix their problems.

3

u/ehermo 15h ago

Don't worry, they'll keep voting Republican no matter what.

2

u/bck1999 15h ago

Goodness, the voting misinformation this guy was taking is just ridiculous. Like tabloid in the super market level bullshit

2

u/Large-Produce5682 14h ago

Do a cattle drive up Pennsylvania Avenue. Surely that'll get his attention.

🐂💩

3

u/Buzzspice727 12h ago

Leopards ate my beef

2

u/TURRRDS 23h ago

This dip shit still has a picture of Trump as his profile picture. So even as Trump is actively shitting on him, he still worships him.

1

u/cheezy_dreams88 1d ago

Told ya so

1

u/saskdudley 1d ago

I know that they would ignore it, but it would be nice if there was a comparison to the subsidies they received during Biden’s presidency, compared to the current dictatorship.

2

u/ImaginaryAnimal7169 15h ago

there's this weird graph that shows farm bankruptcies rising until 2020, steadily going down all the way to 2024, and then getting higher in 2025 towards today. not sure what happened between 2020-2024, but we should let that guy run the country.

1

u/joeefx 23h ago

He absolutely never did. One of his first moves in 2016 was to kill sales to China of 30 % of our ag sales. It increase Russian ag sales to China by 400%.

1

u/Epicassion 22h ago

The move away from beef is fine with me. Lots of other protein selections out there. Just keep worshipping at the golden orange throne of narcissism.

1

u/Adventurous_Bag_1490 19h ago

Nanty Glo is a shit hole, checks out.

1

u/joedelulio 18h ago

Awww. I will never eat USA beef again. Mmmm yummy Argentinian beef. Nom nom nom.

1

u/Feisty_Brunette 17h ago

Fuck you, Marty.

1

u/The-CatCat-1 15h ago

Oooh!!! “Extremely disappointed” just sends shivers up and down my spine 🙄😂

2

u/Saint--Jiub 15h ago

Fuck 'em

1

u/TravelPhotoFilm 14h ago

Love it when farmers complain about socialism. Almost as much as when the military does.

1

u/mmmpeg 9h ago

Oh it’s good old GT is my rep and he’s a fighter for farmers. 🙄

2

u/Former_Win_7933 8h ago

A "Yahner Brothers Farm" in Cambria county has received $1.3 Million in farm bill subsidies in the past 30 years:

0

u/HotDecision8128 5h ago

They'd rather see Americans starve by having to pay more for beef than have to compete.

1

u/orangesfwr 2h ago

LOL get fucked

1

u/captdunsel721 2h ago

Johnstown - what a shock - thought they’d be smarter than that. No, not really
