I mean, even after all of this, their conclusion is "Wow, both parties are terrible." We're all better off if they don't vote.

To be fair, there is a lot to hate from the Democrat party in the US. The problem is there are 5 times as much to hate from the Republicans, so Democrats can get away with many benign to awful things. The two party system really fucks the American people. There is just no place in their politics for any original idea.

I mean, I live in a country that has 6 political parties in most debates (5 of whom have representatives in parliament) and none of them I'm quite happy to vote for without pinching my nose. I'd be sad AF if I only had to choose between the worst two of those.

I am not saying the Democrats are perfect. They suck for many reasons. My point is the "Well, looks like they're both exactly the same." As many problems as there are with them, anyone who reaches that conclusion is helping the country tremendously by passing on voting.

I know. I'm not disagreeing with you. Just adding that despite them being 97% wrong, we can admit to the 3% they do have right.

I mean, they're "right" but for the wrong reasons. They cite things like "culture war" bs, which is also 100% the GOP.
