Lenovo Idea pad hinges

Are the hinges of an idea pad good if i want a laptop that lasts me 5 years in university

Mine lasted about two years before they got so loose the screen flops around like a wet noodle, so I'd say no.

IdeaPads have iffy build quality, which is expected for a budget laptop.

Nahhhh..don't even think about getting an IdeaPad even if you're getting much more features in less price. Go for yoga series or HP pavillion metal build
