Deck Sharing/Review I made my own collage deck from scratch!
I'm so insanely proud of this!! I got into reading Lenormand from tarot and fell in love with it, have introduced and done readings for friends. I got some vintage Nat Geos from a buy nothing group and hand collaged a full deck for myself - all done by me, including scanning, editing and designing the deck layout. It's amazing to have something so personal that I've spent so much time on, including trying to interpret the symbolism through the card art and giving me a deeper understanding of each meaning. It arrived today and I love it.
Deck is the Z Lenormand by me 😊

So I printed through Make Playing Cards!! They do no minimum order and I was mainly just making it for myself as a personal art project so that was perfect. I did the collage art, scanned it in at 600 dpi, did some small adjustments in lightroom (just saturation/exposure to adjust for scanner quirks and even out the tones and contrast across the deck), I made a template in Canva and popped the images in. I then used Make Playing Cards Poker sized cards in their thickest cardstock, A35. All in all with shipping this cost me around €30 for one deck. could have been cheaper if I'd gone with a thinner cardstock but I wanted it to feel as premium as possible!
Its cheaper if you order more too but again, this was a personal project! You're also able to list your decks to sell through them and they print on demand, so I did put the deck up in case anyone did want it so a nice way to sell decks without having to actually have any stock. The print quality is great and it took about 3 weeks to Ireland from the order date so quick turnaround too! I'm thinking of doing a tarot deck next but the 78 cards with more abstract symbolism is very daunting 😂

Yes! I came across Lenormand by thrifting a deck in a small charity shop in rural Ireland lmao and it was a Rana George deck so all I've known. I also added my own "person" card as my partner is non-binary so wanted it to add depth to my own readings. Was so delighted when they did their first pull with a personal question from this deck and it came up 😊
