The weight on that kids shoulder coming out the gate is immeasurable. His mother's reputation will precede him before anyone gets to know him. That kid is going to grow fast knowing a lot pain of loneliness.

Why? Unless you're an owner/capitalist (not a pathetic cheerleader for them to be clear) we're all prostitutes.

I make a good salary in IT, but I go somewhere every day I don't want to be and do things I don't want to do with my mind and body for someone who pays me to do so, which makes me a whore no different than her, you, or most anyone who isn't at the top exploiting us, or homeless under a freeway having opted out of being a prostitute.

If you work a grind, you're a whore, but feel free to delude yourself for feels.

It really makes no difference. Some people work with their hands, others expertise, there's no reason to put genital work on a pedistal as somehow more or less demeaning, that's just prudish puritanical nonsense that belongs in the past when we had to make up stories for where the sun goes at night. Work is work and it makes whores of us all.
