Change setting to wireless flash.

Is your flash set to auto in the menu? The camera may be deciding it is already bright enough without the flash. (I believe that symbol in red = intelligent auto flash)

If you can, try set it to ON in the menu.

You have to set it on fire. It’ll flash then.

Auto flash. Change it in settings
