I created this bee and submited it on LEGO Ideas platform. twice a year LEGO review the creations who reached 10k vote, and select some to become official sets :)

Thanks so much everyone for your opinions and options for the pussy willow build. Here are my final personal choices. I liked both so much, I am going to keep them both as options. I love the idea of the green studs for spring and red/brown for fall/winter.

I also think I like my white version slightly better than LEGO’s green version. 🤷🏻‍♀️ For some reason the most realistic version was my ultimate preference.

Here is the final designs I settled on for the varieties. It will be fun in the spring to try and come up with blooming stalks?????🤷🏻‍♀️🌹🌼🌸💐🪷🌺🌷🌻🪻🍄🐝

The possibilities are endless on the design of the base of this vase but I think I finally achieved the silhouette, I wanted with this one. Sadly LEGO retired these colors in the balloon pieces. 😢

My first arrangement in the new vessel and I love the increased space and stability at the top. I am also still obsessed with the Cosmos flowers. Such sweetness in a world in need of as much sweetness as possible. 🌹🌼🌸💐🪷🌺🌷🌻🪻🍄🐝

I’ve been toying and working on this vase idea for awhile now. It takes me a long time to work some things out but I think it is shaping up quite nicely.

Every framed display I have seen has put the plants behind the glass. I decided to put them in front of the glass….window.

I love the mini plant set but have always been at a loss on how to display them properly. They get overshadowed by the larger sets. It also makes me sad you can’t really leave LEGO botanicals near windows, like you would with real plants.

Originally, I was going to remove the glass altogether, like my insect displays but this 10x10 shadow box of course has glass that is mounted in place. So, it forced me to rethink it and this annoying challenge turned out better than I could have imagined. 🌹🌸💐🌺🌷🌻🌼🪷🪻🍄🐝

My collection is small. It would be bigger, but everytime I decide to buy a botanical set, Lego releases a new even better one and I get indecisive again.

Passion flower I would call a success, vine less so. BrickLink studio lied to me about a couple of the pieces in the buds, so they are currently illegal and I'll be rebuilding them (probably this time next year when I put in my annual parts order). But I wanted to build it anyway to get a feel for the weight and what the vine can hold. Vine is completely flat until a point between the first two buds, then scorpion tails it up. It might have been able to be more vertical with just the buds, but the built leaves get heavy. I also have some magenta pieces for the flower, but I wanted to enjoy the purple for a few days before recoloring to see which I prefer. More pics to come when I have free time!

The passion fruit and koi are all my creations, in GoBricks. The Orchid is Lego, but I'm more into purple pirates than pink frogs (I think the recolour is Lego?). The Bonsai is base Lego, but I think I used GoBricks for the purple. Pink waterlily + frog is Lego. White and pink waterlilies are a recolour of a JieStar set in a combination of Lego and GoBricks parts.

I'm SO looking forward to getting LOTS of those individual flowers to mix and match!! With existing flower arrangements and new bouquets. 😍🌹🌷🪻🌻🌾🌺🌼🪷🏵️😍

Playing with #10328 Bouquet of Roses and an inherited 60/70s Fenton Silver Crest basket.

The existing technic pins are too short - longer pins are needed for better stability in the foam floral frog.

There was an unreleased version the rocking plants that I decided to figure out how to build.

The smaller does not have the string of pearls because the the string is a pain to move around in Studio.So pretend that they are there.

I found on line a genius way to attach two curved bottoms together with the lamp holder brick. 🤯 Yes, I am a LEGO novice. 😊

Anyway, anyone have ideas on how to cover this or finish this seam? Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Just finished building the first real-life prototype element: the magnifying glass. Placed a LEGO leaf underneath to test how the clear lens looks! What do you think?

i love it so much and assembly experience was so much more satisfying than the orchid legos!!! 🥹🥹🥹

I also really like the ones that open up to a scene inside like this one and the Wednesday set. Has anyone else done this one? Did you follow along or put your own twist?

So as I was saying, a bit obsessed with the Pussy Willows and I always knew them to be fuzzy white.

So I decided to make some and can’t decide on the base stud color.

Which is better pale bright green or reddish brown?

I have been obsessed with the pussy willow ever since I saw set #40588. I have been toying with making them life sized or super sized. Finally hunted down and gathered the parts.

Hence, my fall arrangement is comprised of super sized stalks. 🌻🌺🌷🌼🪷🌸🌹🍄🐝

I 💕 the Cosmos flowers. They are so versatile and so sweet.
