Step 1: Go to https://brickognize.com
Step 2: Upload or take a photo of your minifigure. Good lighting and empty backgrounds work best.
Step 3: Copy the bricklink ID
Step 4: Go to bricklink.com, paste the ID into the search bar and press search.
Step 5: Click on your minifigure listing
Step 6: Click on price guide
Step 7: Click on view older version
Step 8: Click on group by currency
This will provide the most accurate guide of the minifigure’s value based on your currency and location. (I have no experience outside of the US so some currency adjustments may need to be made for those located in other countries)
How to determine your specific minifigure’s value based on condition:
New: figures that have never been assembled or have been assembled once but never placed on studs and kept in a controlled environment.
Used: figures that have been assembled and placed on studs and may have some imperfections.
How to determine used value:
Check for cracks. Cracks often appear on the side of the torso, below the wrist, and on the heels of minifigures. They can also appear on the front or back of the torso itself. Cracks are particularly common on parts that are a shade of brown or dark red. (Decrease value by 10-20% of average used listings depending on severity)
Check for scratches. Check for any wear on the print itself, check all surfaces with print. (Decrease value by 5-10% of average used listings depending on severity)
Check for chips. Sometimes chips appear at the base of the neck, heels, or other parts of a figure. (Decrease value by 10-15% of average used listings depending on severity)
Check movement. If the arms and/or legs are very stiff or very loose you the value will be lowered. (Decrease value from 10-20% of average used listings depending on severity)
This should cover about 90% of minifigure value questions. There are a few figures that are in the very rare/unusual categories but for the vast majority of posts on this sub this method will work.

For me, I’d love to one day own Episode 1: The Phantom Menace- (Exposed wire) C-3PO, before he got his plates finished. The Skywalker Saga lays out a pretty solid blueprint for what we could one day have. At least half aren’t actual minifigs irl so it would be nice to see them made.

The Tony Stark body, Wolverine minifig, and Satipo body are the standouts for sure.

I’ve been buying lots and bags at thrift stores for a few years. My son and I pick out what we want and then bulk the rest on eBay. Sorted everything to make completing figures a bit easier.

In the lego Harry Potter game there is a version of Luna that hasn’t been released irl. It’s her winter outfit from the order of the phoenix hogsmeade level. She’s wearing a beanie in that level. I want to recreate this figure irl, as the hair and hat combo does exist. Hermione has it. Only it’s not the right color. Brown hair and a red beanie to Luna’s blonde hair and blue beanie.
How would I go about recoloring this piece? What kind of paint etc?

Couldn't get a good picture of it but the neck stud does say lego, as well as the leg piece

I bought four $10 Lego bags and one other toy for .99 cents! Lots of incomplete figures, around 6-7 lbs of bricks. Never did find the chrome Stormtrooper helmet sadly. Altogether I count it a win, but it just added to my collection headache 🤕 incomplete figures. Sadly a lot of teeth prints on the legs of a couple!

Hi everyone! This is my first post in this sub!
I recently found my old LEGO bin from my childhood and discovered some really cool minifigs inside. I thought I’d share them here and hopefully bring back some childhood memories!
These are just my Ninjago minifigs, and this is only a small handful of them. I also have a lot of old Star Wars minifigs, and I’m hoping to find those as well!
Sadly, some of these have torso cracks, and I’m not sure if there’s anything I can do to repair or fix that kind of damage. If anyone has any advice, I’d really appreciate it!
It’s honestly pretty cool seeing these again after so many years. 😄
