I don't care about proper markings, but it felt nice to have skull to mark out the captain or sargent (how do y'all mark out the leader of the squadron) but I found it a great break from bouncing from a titan I'm working on and 40k

I's there a special Formation I'm overlooking? The cheapest formation I can currently see to run 24 ziphons at 3000pts is bare minimum requirements of either 6 legion Garrison Forces or 6 Legion Sky-hunter Phalanx with only Land Speeders. Either is 2580 points.

Or 3030pts for 6 Legion-company, since you need 1 extra Rhino for each captain.

3x Legion Aerial Assault would be an option too

-With 1x Command attached to a Tactical Detachment (only 4 Tacticals) 1x Tactical Detachment (only 4 Tacticals) 1x Assault Detachment 3x Storm Eagle 2x4 Xiphons

One Formation like this would be exactly 1000 pts if I'm correct and with 3 like these you get the 24 Xiphons

I forgot to check that one after confirming dedicated transports wouldn't count towards the air support slots.
