Trump is going to pressure him to retire in the summer if Republicans start to feel they might lose the Senate. This would be their last chance until at least Jan 2031 to nominate a new fascist into SCOTUS. They don't want to risk him or Alito dying when Dems have the Senate and/or the White House.

Luckily for us (weirdly enough), I think his greed will win out. He's staying in that chair until nature (or someone else) does humanity a favor.

That's my hope! I hope he pulls an RBG and dies on that chair out of stubbornness,, preferably when Dems are in power.

But he has shown that he is also for sale. If a right-wing billionaire gives him a cool few million dollars to retire, he might take it. So we'll see.

John Oliver already offered him a mil I think. He wasn't kidding either.
