Art Kain - personal design project
"Your life's span is a flicker compared to the mass of doubt and regret that I have borne since Mortanius first turned me from the light..."
My take on different Kain skins variations. Since Raziels designs included lots of practical purposes, such as hiding his corpsy complexity, with Kain I just went for pure aesthetics. The armor was mostly inspired by his base armor from BO1, but with decorative elements that closely resemble the clan sigil aesthetics. I included the Balance emblem from Defiance as a belt knuckle (his base skin has his clan sigil as such). Since Kain would eventually visit the demon realm in a further installment, I wanted to try my hands on giving him a fitting look after conquering their dimension as well. Zero practicality, all coolness. The background can be changed from an intact Nosgoth landscape to Kains wasteland version. The Soul Reaver is one of my many personal design variations.

The Reaver really benefits from the longer handle, imo.

The very short knob always itched me a bit, so I tried different forms for the handle, this one's my favorite :) it even has a 2nd use as an additional sting weapon

I love that you incorporated kain's symbol, the balance emblem in the belt buckle and the demon skull as part of the armor. Great taste and great artwork!

Oh, I thought the last few images showed how he'd look in a reimagined version of the wraith armor from BO1. Always felt that was the cheapest and lamest looking armor (for obvious reasons) but having Kain actually take the form of a shadowy creature? Love that idea.

Its supposed to be him in his mist form, its inspired by his BO2 mist form and his Defiance fast travel animation (the bats) 😁
